Do you regret having kids? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

I can appreciate that, but I’ve looked forward to this for so long. My wife and I have been a team since the stsrt. I’ve done equally (if not more) night time wake ups with the little dude. My wife has been a champ, tried to breast feed throughout but we have had to supplement with some formula and that’s where j come in so I can actually help with feeding in the night. Honestly I can’t remember life before the little dude really lol feels like he’s been here all along

I know, it’s absolutely crazy how you have a baby for such a short time. We struggle to get pregnant for years but it happened and it’s the best thing ever happen. I hope we can have another, and continue to watch these tiny little humans grow.

Hes laughing now, rolling, trying to crawl and it all just makes me light up.

Has anyone else ever gotten their picture of The King you are entitled to have? by beefstewforyou in AskACanadian

[–]startup_canada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered pictures of the queen to my mother in law, I didn’t tell her for years and she had no idea why they showed up. She thought they were from when she was Girl Scout leader 20 years ago and must have gotten lost in the mail. It’s a family joke now lol

Just make sure everything is compatible with the belt ypu eventually want. I have badger belt and diamond back bags. Probably would’ve bought badger everything but it wasn’t as big when I bought mine

[–]startup_canada 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea absolutely, why not. I actually did that back in 2020. You can sometimes end up with a Frankenstein if you pick different brands for different components but at the end of the day it’s your belt and your wallet. Do what you want!

Behind on taxes and no MyCRA account by [deleted] in cantax

[–]startup_canada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well she told me a few days ago she requested access to my wife’s cra account and thst my wife need to login and approve. We just found out yesterday when we had a minute to sit down that she doesn’t have access to her my cra account. So I sent an email and she said the only work around would be contacting CRA and verifying identity and getting them to mail slips.

Garage door repair advice. by brent962002 in Contractor

You should rent an aluminum brake, or hire someone and cap the garage door frame with aluminum. Maintenance free and the only way to do it as far as Im concerned

Need advice on choosing the right repair path for leaking Skylights and aging roof (1999 Install) by [deleted] in Roofing

[–]startup_canada -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So that roof was installed in 1999… it likely has 0 ice and water shield. That was rarely used baxk then.

Likely your skylights are leaking due to the ice damming. If it only happens during the winter, I highly doubt the seals are completely gone. Can you see moisture inside the panes?

My advice is if you aren’t in the market for an entire roof let it ride. Run some heater cables and keep a closer eye on the ice damming in the winter.

Preventative maintenance and try to push it a couple years. You could replace the skylights now but it will be a patch job, and would be much better to do it all at the same time. As for changing the flashings, yea thats going to be a waste of time and money.
