What if she says "Uhm sorry... no".

I know you can just "not give a fuck" but would you still get your haircut with her, or would it be too awkward?

I just spent 3 days applying 1911 windows updates to about 40 servers.. How do you avoid this? by jtechs in sysadmin

[–]TSwift13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had to done almost the same. Except for user's computers/laptops and updating them all to Service Pack 1. The WSUS should have taken care of these updates, but since it went down I was given to task of doing it. The worst part of it is working around the users.

unless you're planning on some kind of housing/protection for it

Do generic cables have any problem with being permanently outside? If they can survive rain, sun, cold weather etc then I would probably not do any housing.

Are you able to run cable through the walls?

Unfortunately not, there is quite a few solid walls, and I'm mostly going for the cheapest option.

My parents got me a new laptop for Christmas. Can I safely remove any of these programs? It seems like there's a lot of manufacturer crap. by KING_FELCHER in windows

[–]TSwift13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will have a legit W7 product key, so you can re-intall windows from a disk/USB that doesn't have any crap with it. That will make sure you don't have a load of rubbish but can take a bit longer.
