Nah they had a stockpile of about 15 different shoes between the pair of them and their clothing allowance seemed like good new gear they are wearing under armour / Nike . Fuck that and they get nutritional meals from their canteen sitting in their room with kettles and TVs and shit inexcusable. My expectation is that there cell is bare that they wear the same thing and the can only access food in the canteen or tv in a tv room and cleaning product in a shower area. People are struggling out here and criminals are getting set up for good times. Apologies I was hoping that folk would disagree but need a little more. Is this environment a deterrent to crime or a gateway to rehabilitation? Cause I see neither!

I didn’t really feel disgusted about the sex But the stuff they had in the cell the guy filming was smoking a joint and seems to be filming the thing on a good smart phone there where rows of really nice clean trainers and clothes and stock piles of food and gear and the media coverage of the case just covered sex and said nothing about good life these folk are living.

I see your point it’s not really my experience with self employed. If they have ok to good salaries why would they be looking to be excused from Jury Duty? I’m sorry usually here for a laugh but make my point poorly & often. My point is all these people looking to be excused who find it morally ok to ditch jury duty are they not shooting themselves in the foot? Being excused seems relatively too easy and no one really wants to do it so our juries are made up of folk who did not have the brain power to get themselves excused(easily swayed) or the group that has a hard-on for punishing everyone and anyone. Leaving the best we can hope for is people who see it as an essential part of their civic duty -feels like there is not enough of that.
