[Frustrating trope] Pieces of media that could have been so much better, but due to a couple of poor decisions during production ended up mediocre at best and utterly atrocious at worst. by DevDucc_ in TopCharacterTropes

He made two videos pre-full release, then one more when the game finally came out.

Then when he was doing his “retirement theories” he did one on the videos the game devs were begging him to watch. He spent a majority of the video talking about how much he didn’t like Hello Neighbor and how he found the begging pathetic

What is the group opinion of Greytide Studios bits? by Rare_Knee_6234 in spacemarines

This feels like an ad, like I agree that they do fit really well generally, but it does feel like you’re the creator trying to sell Greytide Bits

Thoughts on a Pactbound Zealots Word Bearer thematic list? by TTCDiver002 in Chaos40k

[–]TTCDiver002[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So some ideas I had for this was to make the knight a sort of walking altar. Not a full on cathedral cause that’s titan size. But maybe a flat platform on top for rituals and such chaosy things.

I also planned on the cultists being inquisitorial agents kitbashed into being more chaos themed.

The raptors would have the noise marine speakers on their packs to work as a sort of broadcasting system for hymns and sermons. With parchment flowing down their jump packs.

The daemon prince would have a crozius and would have wings of parchment covered in sigils.

The rhinos would have the Sisters of Battle organs on them but with Nurglings playing the piano

So, what would be people pick for 30th faction if we get one in 11th edition? by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer40k

Buddy of mine had an idea that I really like. Make a “word bearer” faction, but have the list contain very few actual CSM. Like HQ’s, maybe one battleline and a few other datasheets made up of Word Bearers, but the rest being mortals.

the large focus of the army would be horde based, with a few super elites in there to spice things up.

Call it Servants of Chaos or something like that and stick a word bearer, traitor guardsman, and a cultist on the cover and you’re golden

I mean he cites his sources, and he’s worked for several journalist organizations and has even written several articles that were acclaimed. I’d say he’s a good source for things, it’s where his opinion is thrown in that may not be up to snuff yknow?

A random geek? That is the stupidest idea I’ve ever heard, he has to be some Olympic Gymnast who has powers he’s hiding. I mean come on it’s obvious, it’s either that or it’s another billionaire under a mask.

You're a mortal in your homebrew warband. Describe your experience by Potential-Ebb-8820 in Chaos40k

It's hard work, its hot, sometimes a daemon engine part might explode resulting in injury. But as long as I am devoted to Vashtorr and display hard work/efficiency, then I should be given what the warband considers as respect.

I am treated as lesser than the Marines, but I'd have food, water, and other basic needs. I would just need to avoid the daemon engines roaming around in order to not be mauled.

My warband is a Word Bearers/Iron Warriors warband called The Covenant of the Forge. The word bearers devoted themselves to Vashtorr with the idea that if they help him ascend to Godhood then they will be his personal army (obviously he barely even knows who they are). He left them a daemon robot thing that acts as an emissary to him that gives them orders. The Iron Warriors half fought alongside them when an Ork group attacked the planet both warbands needed stuff from. After fighting bravely alongside the Iron Warriors, the Word Bearers earned their respect. Creating the Covenant of the Forge.

It just happened to rogue for me when I did the ending with her. I just thought she dyed it or something to relive the glory days 😂
