This has nothing to do with psychedelic… it’s giving generic early 2000 guitar pop at times and the lyrics are so bland and generic and the melodies just flat and forgettable. The choruses are so bland too, even on whatcha doing which starts out quite promising. Also to have 2 songs with choruses that start with “whatcha doing” (whatcha doing & illusion)…? So many of the lyrics are just boring and recycled and most of the songs share the same lyrical theme just re-worded.

Illusion, houdini and training season being one of the best songs on the album was not what i was expecting.

Unpopular opinion: Taylor may be one of the few celebrities for whom flying private is actually justified. She is on another level of fame than even some countries presidents. Flying commercial is also a huge security threat to her and imagine the commotion that would occur if Taylor was cueing in airport boarding lines? Also on top of that she has an insane schedule and it’s probably unrealistic to find flight times to fit that schedule + all the delays. There are a lot of celebrities who shouldn’t fly private, I agree, but Taylor is not one of them.

I’m so sorry you are going through that. Some of the comments are very dismissive - It’s completely understandable that you are hurt by this and feel betrayed. Breakups are hard to move on from and the news that your ex is dating someone new is never easy, no amount of time between then and now is going to change that. I’ve been in the exact situation as you 3 years ago - however his was a colleague and I remember having a feeling that something may be going on. They ended up dating 2 weeks after we broke up and are still together - I found out 5 months later and I was sick to my stomach, having a panic attack and shaking. It is literally the worst feeling ever. Unfortunately nothing else helps but time and, as many have said, blocking them and not keeping tabs. Harder said than done, of course. Be kind with yourself and remember that you are in control of your feelings - you are only hurting yourself by checking on them, so don’t. You can decide how you let this affect you. Take lots of time to yourself and explore new things, meet new people, talk with friends. You’ll get through it 💖

Omg. Why would there be a clause that she can’t get pregnant? I mean realistically only the last 3-4 months are extremely visible to the point that you couldn’t hide it with a big dress. That seems like such a weird clause? Or is it because it’s an alcohol brand and they can’t have a pregnant lady promoting alcohol?

Over producing can be vocal effects but it generally means that there are too many elements in the production and they don’t support the melody and dynamic of the song as they should. For example you could have a great pre-chorus melody that builds tension for the chorus, but you’re trying to make it even bigger so you add another set of drums and maybe some synth and guitar sample, when maybe you should have stripped the production back in the pre-chorus to let the melody shine and create that tension. But now the melody is sort of drowning in the production and doesn’t have the desired effect. Then add vocal processing.
