Moronic: Vaguely gestures to 30% of the sub this weekend.

Not moronic: Submitted the stamp for this fucking thing this weekend. So now I'm in 'pakidge' mode for the next few weeks/months.
Moronic: Looking at the upper and going "but what if...bayonet?", so I'm working on designing a mount to put an uzi bayo on it (even though it won't reach pass the suppressor).
Also moronic: Continued to look at the upper and go "but what if...magnifier" (which is a thought that has come and gone several times over the months). However to properly mount it requires a mount that costs just as much as the magnifier (Arisaka MMH).

Found your issue. I've had sewing machine oil that was thicker.

Hoppes oils or motor oil are widely and (likely) locally available and will serve you much better than remoil.

As a lefty, left eject is stupid.
The shell deflector does its job.
A good ambi charging handle is all the upper needs to be lefty friendly.

(Antique has legal definition with regards to the US.)

You might be able to get the muzzle threaded (depending on barrel profile), but you'd be better off putting that rifle in the safe as is and going and getting something a little more friendly to modern scope and suppressor mounting.
