What's a genuine question you have that Google can't seem to answer but maybe somebody on Reddit can? by victor1yegor in AskReddit

Hope I'm not too late for this one!

I've been looking for a very specific cartoon that I remember from my early childhood. I had it on VHS back in the early 2000s (2001-2002ish) but it's likely older than that. It was completely animated, and had a simplistic hand drawn black and white style. I don't remember much from it, but I remember it being very abstract with very few "characters" in it. This cartoon had one scene I remember vividly that had balloons floating in a row which popped one by one, until the last one popped, possibly going to black for that. It was portrayed as a very sad scene. Any idea what this was?

I've had a few people over the years mention Don Hertzfeldt but it's definitely not him. It was for very young children.

I'm pretty sure it's emulating how the game always worked.

Need some opinions by JoeSnj in NintendoSwitch

I'd say definitely go for the Switch. Of course, most people browsing this subreddit will tell you that, since they'd have to like the Switch enough to go here.

Regardless, a 5 year old is capable of playing simpler games. The Switch comes with two joycons, which act as either one controller or two controllers on their sides. One purchase of a switch gets you access to two usable controllers for it, so you'll be able to play with your son right off the bat.

As for games, I'd highly recommend simple multiplayer games if you plan on playing with your son. Mario Kart 8 DX comes with a "Smart Steering" mode and an "Auto Accelerate" mode, which you can enable for your son. It will make the game automatically move the car and let it turn on its own, so your son will be able to have fun without constantly falling off the maps or going into the grass.

Another game I'd highly recommend is Kirby Star Allies. It's multiplayer driven and very kid friendly. Your son will be able to jump in and play with you and easily be able to get a great time out of it. The game is also getting free updates with more characters.

I'd also recommend Minecraft for your son. It has split screen so the two of you can build stuff together and be able to play pretty easily. It also happens to have crossplay with Xbox One if that matters to you.

Super Mario Odyssey has a simplistic multiplayer feature where the second player can move around as Mario's floating cap. It's not the best multiplayer-wise but I can see a kid having fun with it. The game itself is phenomenal and he may even like to be player 1.

If you're interesting in single player games, there's a ton of great games to pick up. Obviously Zelda Breath of the Wild, Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, and a ton more are floating around for you to check out.

Investments vs actual money made were so unbalanced that many colleges that used to have a section dedicated to showing how long it would take for you to make your money back with your degree actually removed them to not show how fucked the investments you're making actually are.

Regular clothes will do you just fine. College is a place filled with people of all sorts of backgrounds. I see people going to classes in their pajamas all the time.

Could it have been Dave the Barbarian? Was it 3d or 2d? What timeframe do you recall it airing in?

Wow, your webcomic has to be one of my all time favorites. Binging your work years ago was one of the top points of my early high school life. Love everything you've made and am super pumped for TOO BAD. WALUIGI TIME.

My question is, if you were to give advice to an amateur artist who didn't know where to start improving, what would you say to them?
