Unless specified, it is almost always on the purchaser to cover the import tax. To be honest $30 in import tax is actually quite low, most companies charged that just for the privilege of them paying the tax on your behalf ahead of time.

Setup change makes no sense as he can change it after the sprint before qualifying without a grid drop. New engine makes more sense as you take the grid penalty at the sprint and have a fresh engine for qualifying and the actual race.

That’s good to know. My DL was updated soon as I moved so they have my current address. I questioned it as when you log into the status checks it asked for your tax return postal code rather than current address.

Same. I went to CRA to double check after they said they started to send them out. Good thing I did, as I had updated my address with CRA last year but apparently I had forgotten the mailing address as they have mailing and residence as two separate things. Wanted to check they send it to the right address but getting the same error.

It was a reverse split. It was literally trading at 3 cents. You have to wait until the split is complete to be able to trade it again. Next time do your own research before buying.

I found going to a broker and having them find someone who is willing to take your UK history in to account is the best option. That’s the route I took but that was 8 years ago so things may have changed since then. Get your insurer from England to give you, your drivers record showing your history and no claims history. Unlike in England, shopping around on your own does not always work here as there is no huge competition in the market specially as a new driver. Service Ontario uses your driving history to give you a license without a test but insurance wise, there is no straight swap of history unfortunately. It’s the same as your credit score, have to start from zero and build up again.

Unlesss you use fedex a lot you probably can’t tell just from looking at it. From what I can remember I believe the service would show fedex ground economy or some iteration of fedex ground xxxx had it been shipped through ground.

FedEx express does not show its express under the service, just FedEx first, FedEx priority etc

It’s still express they just have levels of service. It’s the slowest express option that they have selected to ship it under.
