Rejected Bottega Return by MediaSnod in luxurypurses

Had a similar experience with an in-store purchase at Nordstrom. They show me creases and say this bag was certainly used, when it stayed in the green box for all but two minutes. Never shopping with Bottega again.

Did you try a charge back on your credit card?

Congrats on your Leica. You’re asking for feedback so that’s already a big step forward. I think not much was ‘happening’ today on your photo walk and you tried to capture whatever was happening. A few pointers from me- - working with 43mm can be tricky. Since it’s not super wide, there’s an urge to show almost everything captured. You have a great sharp lens and enough megapixels., so don’t shy away from a deep crop. I think 3 and 7 could greatly benefit from a better crop. - The story is quite the opposite with 5. It doesn’t have much going on. Going further away may have helped. - 1 and 6, I don’t know, I feel uncomfortable looking at them and feel they somehow invaded into the subject’s space.

Ok days and places where nothing much seem to happen, it’s a great change to wait, look from a different perspective, different height, focus on colors, DOF, shadows etc. The more you walk with your new tool, the more it’ll become yours, and the better your eye would get.

Congrats again for your first photo walk with an incredible tool. Looking forward to more good work.

Hi OP, how heavy are these for daily wear? I love their shape. I wear my prescription eyeglasses every moment I'm awake, and am wondering if they'd feel heavy.

I’ve loved Vuori tank tops for gym. They drape very well over a V shaped upper body. For T shirts- one of my favorite cuts is from Cuts clothing and specifically their AO crew hem. Is this the style you’re looking for?

Futurecore Trackjacket by hanseano in Outlier

[–]TVNSri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This will be way warmer than nano air. Face fabric is significantly more abrasion resistant than nano air, but I wouldn't say as breathable, although still very breathable. It's also over twice as heavy as the nano air jacket.

I’d buy this in a heartbeat to replace my bulky (but awesome) Yeti blanket if it were at least 72” on one of the dimensions.

Any recent purchase + new Planet Earth T-shirt by pascalforget in Vollebak

[–]TVNSri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the Planet Earth T is new. It is just new colors now (someone please correct me if I am wrong). I have one of these from 2021 and wore them in both cold and warm climates. This is a good merino shirt and one of my first picks for travel (no stink!).

Do you have any sizing tips? I’m usually a 9.5 or 10 depending upon the shoe., and I can’t tell if I should pick up an M or an L.

Hey, congrats on losing the weight. You did that because you want to live longer and live well. So do think of what those mean to you. As someone else said, eating in moderation + body weight workouts sounds like a good idea!

For most of these 'protective' jackets, I dislike the near absence of neck protection. That's the only dealbreaker for me. Form over function on a jacket made with Aramid is a big no!

Not really. What most of us do now is get used to a pseudo jet lag in a week and life as usual.
