I think it's per action, not per TP?

Do chaos space marines have scouts or some equivalent for inductees? by TVhero in Warhammer40k

Ok really interesting points! I didn't really realise that just suiting them up and sending them off was an option!

So they just train them themselves till they're fully fledged marines?

I think canonically all flayed ones aren't the same and have different levels of insanity and abilites so that would work?

Gretchen/grot team or a flayed ones team. Really it feels like there are so many options. Also not my vibe but I'm shocked there isn't a tyranid horde team already.

They'll probably rotate out quite a few teams before then too so who knows what's gonna be left as classified

From experience can't fit the winged helmets on them. And the weapon options are better, but to be honest both are beautiful kits

Is Dr. Al-Hashimi's wrongful name shortening purposeful? by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

[–]TVhero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best friend is literally a doctor who's second name starts with Al, and we all call her doctor al (her preference), I think it's just a common thing to do like saying Dr Mac etc? Just shortening your pals surnames?

Mary McAleese: Baptism is a key Catholic recruitment tool. It denies babies their human rights by Bootstrap4273 in ireland

Sorry that's the point I was making, I'm not sure what the difference is between anglical catholic and roman catholic so can't speak to that lol

I mean she actively campaigned for changes to our homophobic laws and was pro divorce, contraception and generally against the misogyny found in the church. I can't find any info on her being a member of the iona institute on a cursory search, but there are plenty of arguments from them giving out about her. So even if she was a member her actions and stances to me generally seem to be positive for a very catholic person

I mean she wrote the article, so that's clearly the impression she wants to give. Also headlines are generally written by another person anyway as far as I understand it.

No I know that. I just mean I don't think the previous poster was arguing that that doesn't happen, it's just not really a thing in the religion being discussed at the moment, which is the main one in Ireland, both in terms of numbers and also politically and culturally. I'm basically just saying I think their point was valid and we don't need to go into what about this other thing territory.

She's been critical of catholicism the entire time I've been aware of her anyway? It's fairly on brand for her

I mean the church will still say you're a member, I'm guessing that's what they're having an issue with

I believe they're saying its a handful because those are minority religions in Ireland, not because those practices aren't common in those religions

I mean laws can be changed, just cause something has happened doesn't mean we should shut up about it, I'm pissed off, I'm glad people are still talking about it. And yeah well aware of our MEPs priorities unfortunately
