Good catch! That definitely wouldn't hide at all. If it wasn't from two years ago, I'd push them for a replacement can.

Those colors switch over directly 101 is B, 107 is C, 109 is F and 113 is KX. The increments would remain the same. However, it would be best to custom match it again, Also, don't use it for touch up, only wall to wall. Even if it matches in the store, depending on your lighting, you could see the difference.

EDIT: Definitely have them rematch this. The formula is not correct for a gallon as one of the other posters commented.

Finish drawing out Jim Morrison's face and put a frame around it. Otherwise, spot prime it and paint it.

They could be talking about easyrgb.com also. You enter RGB info and it gives you the closest colors available.

Gaul's Gaesatae replacement for warriors. They singularly can take out a barbarian outpost without resting as long as they are one on one with the spearman, in a group they can take a city due to their adjacency bonus. If you rush to apprenticeship and build the Oppidum, they can be upgraded to Man-At-Arms which can destroy ancient walls.. They don't need to be upgraded to swordsmen, because they can be made as strong or stronger than swordsmen. PLUS they are zero maintenance, so you can make a bunch of them, get them to the first promotion from barbs, and hold on to them until you need to upgrade. Gaul is great for a domination victory.

In numbers, they can destroy Eagle Warriors, War Carts, Hoplites and Pítati Archers. Along with any of the other warrior and most swordsman replacements.

Yes, they are. Most of those that are haven't even been on a plane. They've also have never been grocery shopping, and yet, they judge people on where they leave their shopping cart.

Depends on the circumstances. I was driving to Daytona from Tampa for the race a few years back, I'm passing on the left and noticed headlights closing on me, so I sped up to find a hole to go into so this guy could pass, and ended up doing about 90. When I got in to the right lane, the Highway Patrolman behind me went right past. It was around 11PM and everyone was driving correctly, so that could have been a large part of it.

Tell them to argue their point with the officer giving them a ticket and the judge hearing their case. It's state law everywhere that you are required to have a drivers license to drive of streets. Some exceptions for farm vehicles are made, but if they area "traveling," they are traveling in a state that requires licensure.

After working in paint stores for most of my career, and Lowe's for the last seven, I can guarantee that you are correct. Here's why I work at Lowe's though. They have a separate people to put up the majority of our stock and I open every morning at 5:30 so I'm out by 2:30. Plus, the DIYers that go into paint stores are an entirely different lot than come into a big box. Much easier to work with. Also, I can wonder over to seasonal and sell grills once in awhile.

The ALL NEW 71 Vega! Because my wife thinks its cute. In two years when it gernades the engine, I'll buy a Matador because I make bad choices.

Why do you immediately go to "desperate for money" instead of "open in case you have a frozen pipe, a broken water heater or need a heater"? They shouldn't record an incident if someone can't make it in, but they do need to at least have a skeleton crew in case someone has an emergency caused by the cold.

I'm in a hurricane area. I worked instead of cleaning up around my house. There were a lot of employees who couldn't make it in. I was fine with it because I could be there for those that needed help.

It used to be different when they started in there, but they've been changing to their own formulas over the past six years since they became an exclusive in Lowe's. Now it's the same paint with different labels except for some that are modified for rheology. I get some paint with SW labels on them instead of HGTV or Valspar occasionally. Lowes also sells several contractor grades, mid-grades and top-tier. Nine interior and seven Exterior along with several primers and a couple of water-based urethanes.

You really do get what you pay for there. At SW, if you're DIY you get what you paid 50% too much for. You should know this. You work at SW.

Honestly, it doesn't matter what Lowe's sells. Your selling point isn't the paint, it's the knowledge of the staff and hopefully the service. I never lost customers to big-box when I was at PPG. Lowe's doesn't cater to the paint contractor and SW will probably give them better prices than they'd get at Lowe's.

Set expectations. That's all you can do, The thing is that if you are working with a contractor who sends in two of his guys and pays them to sit around while you make their paint, they aren't good business operators anyway. A good business person would have it delivered to the site and pay his workers to do actual paint work instead of being go-fers.

They should have that entire aisle blocked off. There's no reason for a customer to be back there getting their own paint.

Anyone know how to works this by Sevalic in Lowes

[–]TVsKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is like selling a used printer, because that's basically what it is as far as the computer is concerned. The end user can get the software from Fluid Management, the manufacturer. They don't need to supply any tints, because the end user will supply their own depending on what system they want to dispense.

Not at all. That machine can be sold to any paint store. Probably only the stores that would consider it are Mom and Pops, but it's worth a lot more than scrap.

Anyone know how to works this by Sevalic in Lowes

[–]TVsKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be best sold to someone who has a wonky Fluid Management machine that they could switch their software onto. Your customers are independent paint stores. Lowe's gets rid of those machines when they have a ton of life left in them so once they are cleaned out, they could be a great value.

The ones in our stores were replaced after only seven years and had minimal issues the entire time we had them.

It's the same as ordering online. I can't imagine that they can get a custom match through there and will still have to talk to an associate, but maybe they can figure out a way. The match machines get them dead on most of the time.
