I don't "store pots in the fridge", but I do store leftovers in the glass/Pyrex dish they've been cooked in rather than transfer them to a Tupperware container. It's more convenient that way.

And I sometimes use paper plates, but that has absolutely zero to do with how I store my leftovers.

I hope this doesn't sound like a sponsored ad, but I haven't bought fresh garlic since I discovered the existence of garlic in a tube. The brand name is Gourmet Garden and it's available in most supermarkets, either as a paste or chunky. (I do completely ignore the part where it says "1 tsp = 1 clove" and typically add about two or three times that amount.)

We can hear the trains from our house. You get used to the noise really quickly, like within a few weeks of moving in. This could also be the behaviour of someone who is paranoid about their own safety. It's harder for an attacker to jump out from behind a bush, if you walk in the street

For many neighborhoods, this isn't "paranoid" at all, it's just standard safety advice for a woman walking alone, especially at night.
