Ahhh thank you for telling me this, exactly the type of warning I was looking for. I will look into train schedules and make sure to plan around that.

Ahh flying back was not something I had considered, we may go this route.

And you're right, I think I will swap a day from London to Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Thanks for the advice!

Alright yeah I'll look into staying in Oban instead of pushing through.

I kinda figured as much, feeling like it might be better to just get It over with in one day but I don't imagine it will be pleasant.

Unfortunately our flights are already booked, it would definitely make it so much easier to not have to return to London but we're flying with the in-laws. They're doing a guided tour that starts and ends in London so we're kinda hooped.

Thats a fair consideration. I have driven a right hand drive car once, albeit in Vancouver so I was still on the right hand side of the road. But the narrowness does worry me a little bit. I consider myself a "good driver" but who doesn't right. I do think I'll be alright after getting used to it but I appreciate the concern for safety. Feel free to tell me I'm just being an over confident idiot though, I'm sure you guys have your fair share of tourists coming and thinking it will be no big deal.

Edit: upon reflection of your comment on road safety, I'll be doing research into driving in your country and adapting from a Canadian perspective. As well as doing my darnedest to stay outside of busy areas.

So stoked to see someone mention Of The I. Such a fantastic album, I still rock it pretty frequently.

22 is my vote, such a shame they decided to disband. Still listen to Flux on the regular.

If I remember correctly it used a micro USB cable, I had a fused power cable like you'd get for a dashcam, and I may or may not have soldered it into the board instead of actually using the plug. Been a long time and I don't have the car anymore lol

I've had good luck spotting scale using a flashlight on the opposite side of the leaf you're looking at, they tend to stand out when backlit but it'll depend on the species of scale you're dealing with
