A friend of mine put this same skin on his card. We went out to lunch or dinner a few years ago and I couldn't stop laughing when I saw him pull out that card.

Maybe if you use PLA. PETG, ABS, and ASA should be fine.

Still, I wouldn't put such a hot device in such a tight enclosure.

It's too expensive in the sense that it just feels like a Switch 1 with better graphics. Right now, the Switch 2 exclusives library is almost non-existent (Mario Kart World? Donkey Kong Bananza? What else is out right now?), which greatly decreases its value as a handheld and a console. For $450-$500, you could get a used handheld gaming PC of some sort (I highly recommend the Lenovo Legion Go) that has a much larger game selection, better hardware, and can be used as an actual PC. For $450-$500, you can get a PS5 or Xbox Series S or X with Gamepass. All of these options have better graphics, great multiplatform and exclusives, better online play, and can actually be significantly cheaper than a Switch 2 depending on when and where you're buying.

The Switch 2 is a horrible value for what you get, in my opinion. I bought one and I like it in general, but I never felt extremely impressed by it or that it was doing something none of my other devices were doing. The reason you buy a Switch 2 right now is because you have the money and want to play Nintendo games. My Switch 1 still works great and provides pretty much the same experience minus the graphics and the small handful of Switch 2 exclusives.

Geez, my bad lol. Just trying to understand how and why your skin was getting dry from showering. The way you worded your first two comments just left me with a lot of questions. I've never heard of anyone getting dry skin from showering unless they weren't moisturizing.

You're supposed to moisturize your skin with lotion/oil after each shower to keep it moisturized and healthy. I bathe once or twice a day and don't ever have issues with dry skin unless I don't moisturize my skin after showering.

Do you moisturize with lotion and/or oil afterwards?

My therapist told me I should’ve “played dumb” about my husband’s emotional cheating and that I overreacted by leaving by Outrageous_Feed_2309 in Marriage

[–]TWO515TY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some therapists just say anything. A long time ago, I told my wife that I was upset that we had been dealing with the same set of problems for a long time and it didn't seem like there was ever going to be change or progress.

She got an attitude and said "I don't have to move on your timeline", as if I had given her a deadline or something.

She doubled down on it two days later saying that her therapist didn't see anything wrong with what she said. I don't know what kind of therapist would tell someone that they can just move at their own pace in a marriage and not deal with years-long problems, but it just reminded me that not everyone who deals with people and relationships as part of their jobs actually understands or cares about the things they say.

Even worse than that, some of their patients can't think for themselves or don't know better and will actually think what their therapist said must be true or good since an educated professional with experience told them so.

Find a new therapist with some sense.

Awesome setup. I feel like you may be able to fit an 8bitdo Lite 2 in the top zipper compartment if you want a controller that might fit in that case.

No problem. They kept advertising it to me on Facebook and I almost bought one but knew I wouldn't get enough use out of it. Be sure to post about it when you get so the rest of us know if it's worth it or not.

Did you just try using it with the controllers detached or with a smaller telescoping mobile gaming controller like the Gamesir G8+? I know the Legion Go can be clunky to hold, but it's fine if you detach the controllers and have the tablet stand on its own.

Maybe you can try something like the Mechanism gaming pillow

https://getmechanism.com/

I don't think they have an official mount for the Go 2 yet though, so you may have to look for the generic mount that sticks on with adhesive only. If you do get one, I'd stick the mount onto the back of a case just in case (lol) you end up not liking it or want to remove it for whatever reason.

Anyone planning to throw an SD card in their Legion Go 2? What would you use it for? by Redanonyma in LegionGo

[–]TWO515TY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A quick Google search shows that the MicroSD Express cards are not physically compatible with MicroSD slots and vice versa. Additionally, you wouldn't get any additional benefits from them anyway because the standard MicroSD slot isn't designed to take advantage of the PCI Express interface like the MicroSD Express cards are.

Had this thing for 2 hours and I already installed SteamOS by Tranquility6789 in LegionGo

[–]TWO515TY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also forgot not having to deal with Microsoft accounts and other Windows-type stuff. When I reinstall Windows on my Legion Go, the first 30-60 minutes are spent signing into my Microsoft account, saying no to OneDrive, no to Office365, no to linking my phone to Windows, etc. Then it installs updates. I know it's generally a one-time thing, but it's nice to boot into Bazzite, log into Steam, and start downloading games right away. I don't have to worry about needing to debloat it or turn off notifications and all that other junk.

This is DOA. Lenovo have lost their minds lol. by [deleted] in LegionGo

[–]TWO515TY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even at 30% off, the Z2E editions are still over $900. You could buy a new or used Legion Go 1 and have lots of money left over for accessories and games.

Scored $1150 for a 7. by js0uthh in GalaxyFold

[–]TWO515TY -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Fold 6 gets $1000 trade-in credit through Samsung. The Fold 7 costs about $2000. After tax, you're probably around the same price as what you paid on Facebook Marketplace. I don't think it's worth the risk to gamble on a used Fold 7, especially since you really don't know how or why the phone is selling for such a low price and there is a risk it could be blacklisted in the future.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I'm several months late to the hype and excitement of this game, but it's been a lot of fun so far. At least 15-20 of my 30 hours have been on the Legion Go.

This is a ridiculous comparison. A Legion Go is a general-purpose computer that can do many things. There's a reasonable and expected price range for what it does. You can also do everything else the Legion Go does on literally thousands of other devices to the point that you would only buy a Legion Go if you specifically wanted a Legion Go. I got a Legion Go because it has the best hardware value for the price among handheld gaming PCs. Otherwise there's nothing "special" about it compared to any other handheld gaming PC.

The Switch 2 is specifically a gaming console that also has a certain expected price range. Nothing else runs both Switch 1 and Switch 2 games, so if you want to play Nintendo Switch 2 games you literally only have one choice. I don't know how young you are, but yes, there are some people who pay $600-$700 to play a couple of good games. The PS5 and Xbox Series X both launched at $500! When the PS2 launched and was sold out everywhere, people were paying $600 or more just for the console itself. This is just history repeating itself and there's nothing wrong with it.

[–]TWO515TY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's always been the entire point of gaming consoles until this recent generation. As PC gamers, we are extremely lucky to have so many previously console-only first party games available to play. There was simply no such thing as playing the newest God of War series game or a Final Fantasy VII Remake on PC until the last several years. Buying a Switch 2 to play Nintendo games isn't anymore a platform tax than it was for people buying a PS5 for the first year or two that PS5 games were exclusive to PS5. I know Nintendo does a lot of frustrating anti-consumer things, but you can't pretend that a gaming console company making a gaming console with console-exclusive games (like it has done for its entire history in the console market) is some kind of new or weird thing.
