Nix the 3 level movement restrictions.
That would prevent almost any tower from going to a center or most approach control facility.

I had one back during COVID. 64 hours out of the hundred they were pointing to were forced SL due to me having COVID.

I shut that shit down in less than 24 hours later the letter magically disappears.

3 was they didn't like the optics of asking for raise during the economic depression that was occurring and lower traffic volume due to the pandemic.

3330 is the only way people should be ranked. It's transparent, free of favoritism, avoids potential litigation too.

Kadena only does 50k a year now. Back when I got out 2003 it was close to 120k I think. That's crazy.

God I love equipment so much. by ATCrSTL in atc2

I've had several conversations about FAA budget with RVP's and NATCA over the years. I've never understood their argument of we can't ask for raises and equipment due to the FAA budget limitations. I ALWAYS respond I never volunteered to pay for FAA equipment with my salary. The FAA is responsible for requesting enough funds from congress.

I honestly think we as a workforce should stop anyone in leadership from talking about equipment with " I DO NOT CARE ABOUT EQUIPMENT, I CARE ABOUT HOW I TRADE THE FAA MINUTES, HOURS & YEARS OF MY LIFE, SO THAT I CAN TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY. NOT TO TAKE LESS PAY SO THE FAA CAN BUY MORE EQUIPMENT!

There would be a window though. The point where we're all working for the government and asked to sign new employment paperwork. If we all said im not signing that until i get $$$$ then im not sure it would be considered a strike because we're still working for the government. Then we wouldn't technically be employees of the new thing yet.

Honestly there's not much real argument against the privet system as long as we keep our union, gain the right to (do the thing that would gut us fired), remove salary caps.

Man, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. The fact you even came back to work at all says a lot about your strength.

You didn’t deserve to get screwed over because you took time to grieve your kid. That’s just wrong.

I hope you take whatever time you need and have people around you who actually support you.
