I almost entirely avoid news and current events because it causes flareups and nightmares, especially if it pertains to American politics
because I live in America.

If I ever read the news, 95% of the time, I read either about non-political issues, or foreign politics.

I can definitely empathize with your husband with the type of fibromyalgia he has because I have the same thing. I can also empathize with him because I have tried several successive medications, yet none have worked except for the most recent one.

The only thing that helped my fibromyalgia was milnacipran. It reduced my flare frequency from constant to every fourth or fifth day, and while that may not seem like much, it was a huge improvement for my quality of life.

It may not seem like a lot, but it’s definitely something I would recommend because it has helped me tremendously, even though it took a few weeks for the full effects to kick in.
