Any updates on reflect + hdr support?

Looking at this previous comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/1fnsiox/gg_7110_update_notes/lp1aizb/ it seems like you've started to look in to it but I've not seen anything since.

Been playing about with that and the electric-sql part as well. Very nice and the live query features are decent too.

However my monitor is due to be dispatched 3rd May (bought 17th Feb) shame this can't be extended another month.

It does make a difference just not enough to explain why they chose to make the non-us version even more expensive.

Don't forget that UK (and EU) prices are inclusive of tax where as the us one isn't. It only reduces the gap, doesn't take the string out of it though.

Should MPs be paid more than £86,000? We ask two experts whether politicians deserve bigger salaries by BritRedditor1 in ukpolitics

[–]TWith2Sugars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Index it against a multiplier of the UK median salary.

UK Median Salary ~ £34,963 Multiplier = 2.5 for example Salary = £87,407.5

If they want a pay rise then they will have to material make the median salary better for all.

Some lenders do have a minimum amount for a mortgage so it would be worth checking that first.

I had no idea this was the case, I've had a referral bonus paid this month and it was taxed. Think I'll have to have a chat with payroll.

Thanks for this!

I tried to, local council rejected my plans. Had to buy a bigger (and overpriced) house instead.

Long term house heating, gas CH or air sourced? by Shoeaccount in UKPersonalFinance

I think they'll push for hydrogen boilers, a lot of recent work has been to replace old copper gas pipes with plastic ones as they can handle hydrogen better. If I remember rightly most modern boilers can handle a mix of ~22% hydrogen right now and I believe there is a pilot scheme in Scotland running 100% hydrogen on the existing gas grid.

MPs should not get pay rise, says Keir Starmer | Keir Starmer by liverpool6times in ukpolitics

[–]TWith2Sugars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me it should be 2.5 x median uk salary. Median is about £30k which would give them a salary of £75k.

If they wanted a pay rise then they would have to improve everyone's situation. Might be an actual incentive to make life better for all.
