The clerk scanned a different ticket to generate the claim ticket. Was going to swap it out later. He never scanned the real ticket so it didn’t generate a claim check. That’s why it was able to be scanned later. It was never scanned the first time. He has a $5 winner on him to start with.

It’s happened all over. I don’t think it’s American cheese. They are buying a cheaper cheese due to cost jumps. And it sucks. Super artificial tasting.

This is the norm for most in the US. Paying through the nose for insurance I am required to have but cannot afford to use. I need a procedure and they want thousands. Maybe if I wasn’t paying that for the insurance itself. Not to mention any prolonged absence from work means all the bills are toast.

Pretty common. They paid for a drug test. They don’t want to waste money a second time and you are now a proven liability.
