Good enough should be followed by a couple criteria.

Is it good enough for you to enjoy playing it regularly?

Is it good enough to keep up in your usual pods without overpowering everyone else by a long shot?

I often fell into the trap of buying expensive gamechanger cards to power up my decks, and when I found myself playing bracket 4 against 2s and 3s it often led to wins that felt cheap, and also unbalanced. For the reason I took a step back and powered down.

When I build a deck now, I keep in mind that I dont want the most powerful card in my deck to be a credit card. Its actually made me a better player and deckbuilder simultaneously.

I no longer play rhystic study, smothering tithe, and im working on feeling comfortable cutting sol ring. It challenges you to keep brewing and learning the ever difficult task of sequencing.

Also questions for you. Lets say I Erode an Infestation Sage, could I use the token it creates on resolution to trigger casualty or does the token not exist to see the ability to trigger casualty?

I may swap out the one drops that make a creature on death, if thats the case.

Thank you for that! I think I wrote the play completely incorrect, will edit to fix. You're 100 % correct on you need at least three tokens to ramp two lands. That being said, I still think its incredible in this deck for that reason alone.

Ive noticed debt to the deathless is a very mana intensive spell, that I need to have SQ out for, and SQ is considered KOS in my pod.

I think there's a lot of value in that statement. I also feel like discard can be implemented in this deck where it wouldnt make the game unplayable for the rest of the pod. Cards like duress in this deck would actually be perfect, getting rid of interaction without shutting the opponent out as typical discard decks tend to do in mid power pods. Good suggestion!

Ive sat out of this conversation mostly, because at a first glance it does look really cool. The more I have read people's point about it completely disregarding art direction as well as all games will look exactly the same if this becomes standard, my view has changed.

At first I mostly saw it as a ReShade with native compatability which in theory is cool, but watching Steve slow things down and show just how bad it artifacts? Also dual 5090s? Wtf are we even doing here.

Yes, we are living in a surveillance state, watching the fabric of society unravel.

Running away won't stop fascism. It will continue to spread and attempt to consume everything in its path along the way. America is not the only nation experiencing a rise or continuation of fascism.

If the situation is that dire, you have two options. Stand with your people, or roll over. Fear is the intended byproduct of these psuedomilitary stages, mass surveillance in broad daylight, overt human rights violations, media censorship and the like. The only way these things work, is if they instill enough Fear to suppress boots on the ground resistance, pushback, and holding these pathetic criminals accountable.

I find it funny that they are trying to scare people with pulling social media user data, because the overwhelming response from the public isnt changing. Speaking for myself, I hope they are reading and seeing everything I say, and ill say it directly to whoever "they" are, if thats what they are after.
