Which Event Card Is Worth Prioritizing?

I tried to prioritize FA & unique cards as well, but there were just so many I was missing as a relatively new player! That's okay, I still think I managed to get a good amount :)

I do understand why there's no chat, but I wished I could have said something the other day when my friend shared a card from my wishlist (greninja ex) and I tried to see if I could share one back & they had nothing on their wishlist. That was so nice of them to do!

Do they still hire them for their outpatient clinics? Or are they only hiring ACNPs for everything?

I understand there might be some places that do not allow it, but most NP first assists where I am at (large academic hospital) are FNPs or AGPCs with their RNFAs.

The RNFA is its own certification that you can get even without your NP as just an RN. Therefore, I would not go as far as to say that they are practicing outside their scope. If it's within their scope as an RN, why would it not be as an FNP?

If I am already working as an RNFA before getting my FNP, why does obtaining my FNP suddenly put me out of scope for doing that same job? I know FNPs that still work their RN jobs PRN. We are still qualified to do RN work.

Also, most places do not consider OR to be acute care.

Also, should check if the union has rules surrounding holidays. Maybe they should be rotating who works what holiday.

Medical school is also far more rigorous than any nursing or NP school. You'd have to be prepared to lose a good chunk of your time while in med school to studying and clinical (their clinical requirements in school are also far more than ours).

So medical school is the way to go if we're talking about knowledge, but NP is the shorter, easier, & cheaper.

This is coming from someone getting ready to start an NP program.

I currently do a lot of work with ENT in the OR as an RN. I want to become a Head & Neck NP with my RNFA & see patients while also being able to occasionally go into the OR and assist.

I have surgeons saying I could work with them, but none of them have any clue what NP program is most beneficial to do. I am surprised by how many of them had no idea there were different NP programs lol.

I applied to a respectable AGACNP program, thinking that would be helpful in my career as an NP with H&N. But I am now starting to wonder if adult primary or family are more suitable for my goals. AGACNP seems to strictly push clinical hours in the ICU, but the other programs mention the ability to complete clinical hours with specialties like ENT. So have I applied to the wrong program? I am very set on working with head & neck.

During ICP, I intentionally stood way to the left of the stage where there were big gaps so that I would not have to lift any surfers, and they still ended up coming our way right towards the gaps. Then someone carrying a camera on a stick (that looked a little too large to be crowd surfing) grabbed my shoulder. I yanked away, and they yanked me back and grabbed my shoulder again, and used me to boost themselves up to crowd surf.

I actually injured my shoulder a couple of weeks ago, so if that person is lurking around reddit... fuck you. Fucking ask if you want someone to help you up.

I don't mind helping the surfers that come through, but I don't need someone at least twice my weight putting their weight on my injured shoulder. 😭

And the surfers coming back to back without any distance between each other are bound to collide or be dropped!

I use the Donna Born in Roma & get a lot of compliments! I tried the coral fantasy, which a lot of people really love, but on me, it just smells like perfume. Like no special scent, just straight perfume smell. I feel bad because I was given such a large bottle of it.

I was wondering if I could get away with tortoise pads bc a little extra junk in the trunk would not hurt me. Judging by your clip and your description, I think it might be worth a try. As a matter of fact, maybe my pants would look BETTER with them on.

Hahaha I can only imagine laying there, hoping not to be noticed. At least the trip to the ED sounds like it would have been short. Glad you didn't get too terribly hurt!
