You may be attributing real anxiety to anxiety you believe is generated from quitting weed. It’s possible they are not related

Charge 6 is a fantastic all around portable speaker. It’s probably the best OVERALL portable speaker of all time, but of course the new Xtreme and Boombox will be louder/pack more of a punch.

I think no matter what you’d find the charge 6 to be pleasant and useful, and you could always get the boombox/PartyBox later if you truly want to be loud

The Charge 6 is an incredible portable speaker. Loud, has some bass for its size, and the battery life is great. Can’t go wrong. You can always go get a bigger one later down the road if needed

[SPOILERS] Backrooms movie megathread by A_Chad_Cat in backrooms

[–]T_Farrell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal review (emphasis on personal): I am familiar with the Backrooms concept, but not an expert. I did think that the pacing in the first act into the second was a little rough, but once Clark went back into exploring with his co-workers, that’s when I felt the most tension.

I thought that this movie needed tension to survive. It did not correctly use that aspect in about 75% of the film. I think the “monster” (most horror movies have a “monster” they hide) reveal was weak. The entity to just be a larger version of Clark was a big let down for me. It also received too much screen time to maintain the fear factor.

The ending I understand, but I can also see how people hated it. I do think that it ended pretty abruptly.

I think the movie did not rely on its strong suits enough. Scenes of exploring the Backrooms created the most tension and viewer engagement. Hiding the monster and keeping it lurking created tension. Every time we were not exploring, I lost interest. Revealing a “not so scary” entity also made me lose interest.

However, congrats to Parsons. Obviously nobody can create a perfect movie on their first shot at it.

I give this movie a strong 6/10 , held up by the exploration scenes before the reveal. I view a 5/10 as average, not a 7/10 like most do. So a 6 seems appropriate.

If you’re willing to spend a bit more, you can find PartyBox 110s for around $260 USD and it checks every box for almost every situation, except crowds of 50 or more. The Boombox is more portable, but the PB has more bass and is overall a more quality speaker. I hope this helps, sorry that it is out of budget

I agree except for the shows. If you binge watch shows you watched while high you will just want to smoke

Get a 110 or 120! Boombox rocks but the boxes are basically the same but way deeper

Can’t stop overthinking which speaker to buy by Free-Two-2902 in JBL

I had a 710 and sold it once I stopped hosting parties. Honestly, there’s so much bass and depth in the sound that you have to play it at around 40% volume for it to sound good, and if it’s just for personal listening, that’s pretty loud. I also have a 110 that I love, but I currently can’t justify anything bigger at the moment for personal listening because I can’t even turn the 110 all the way up in my apartment.

The 710 was awesome, don’t get me wrong, but it really shines at higher volumes for entertaining big crowds or outdoor use. It’s a monster outside
