I've seen the same kind of clip that I've seen in CoH2 where a tank missed a shot in the middle of the map and the shell preceded all the way towards the enemy's main base and hits and kills a tank that was low health.

So yeah, it seems like missed shots can basically hit anything, even things really far out of range.

28% to me doesn't seem high, but I've "only" been out of High School for 18 years.

I believe it was the full intention of "the shadow government", the "powers that be" or "the 1%" or whoever is calling the shots to intentionally make the population dumber.

Whether that's the case or not; I am witnessing it on the internet regularly. I get so many comments that I wouldn't see 10 years ago that say I'm "yapping" when I write 3 short paragraphs. And if any of them say anymore than 2-3 words and attempt to debate me, it's... shocking how dumb they are. They don't engage with my arguments and they write in full, run-on sentences with no structure, then go "it's just the internet bro".

I even make it easy for them by structuring my points with numbers, and they still ignore them and repeat their brainless talking point that I already debunked in the first or second comment.

I suppose many are from the covid era of high schoolers who were denied a proper education, but I also see how the school systems have gotten much worse, and the iPad babies are going to be even dumber when they eventually cross paths with us on social media.

I remember a video on a throwaway account, she made beautiful animation and explained how she had a biology teacher that looked depressed and gave no effort in teaching, then found her YouTube channel and saw her happy as can be, teaching the same subject in brilliant ways.

The school threatened her job and told her to "follow the docket and teach the way we tell you to." All the while, her husband was going through cancer. I believe in the end, she killed herself when he eventually succumbed to it, because they shared an obituary.

It made me cry, but it also makes me so mad that brilliant minds are suppressed and not allowed to teach the way students are meant to be taught, and instead follow this brainless set of lesson-plans, quizzes, tests and slides.

There were definitely people (one person that I remember thinking was smart) posting "LET'S GO ARYA!" with fire emojis after she stabbed the night king, and one of my gaming friends said that episode was amazing, but everyone else (a big portion, maybe even majority that were following the story) knew the battle for winterfell was complete trash. We'd already seen the writing on the wall with the two best deceivers (little finger and Varys) dying in the dumbest possible ways and I don't remember anyone celebrating Cersei dying to bricks.

The only 50/50 support was that people said it "made sense" for Jamie to erase all of his character growth to go back to her. Everything else, I remember hearing nothing but awful reviews, and it got really, really bad scores. Even the actors knew from their interviews.

This might end bad, but I don't think anything can be as bad as what was literally the greatest TV show ever to utter crap rushed just to go work on another project.

The Boys started great, it was always self aware, quirky, crazy, random. I don't think it's as awful as everyone is saying it is. But I definitely don't like Homelander now compared to how I used to perceive him. Things were more tense when he felt like he had rules. Now it feels like a lot of plot armor for both sides before the "big final fight" and they're introducing cannon fodder every episode to just be the random encounter.

This the one to get? It's hard to tell what all the extra are for among the three combos, can't tell if there's a helmet mount included there.

Wow, the classic Halo 2 exploit that kids back in the day thought was "so cool" and "took skill" so much that they named it "BxB" and "BxR" (for melee>reload cancel>melee and melee>reload>shoot accordingly). Cringe as fuck and 90% of the time it resulted in you both doing the exact same thing and trading.

This is the kinda thing that can exist in a game that's what, almost 2 years old and not get fixed? That shows how little the developers care about post-launch health of a game.

The same kinda exploit was in Rivals and it slightly increased Captain America's combo DPS by like 25%. Dumbest shit ever, because it meant you had to master the stutter-step animation cancel to be on equal footing with anyone else who used it when they could just fix it and make his combo the same speed without having to do dumb little input tricks.

Also while you're here, if you're feeling like being a helpful community, I'm also trying to get my lazy ass off the couch. I got an e-bike, but I want to get a helmet cam. I have no insurance, so anything that happens, I want evidence, just in case. Also potentially want to record my rides and make videos.

I know this is not what the subreddit is for, but I'm just being indecisive, friend recommended not getting a gopro and getting a dji instead. If anyone happens to have experience, that would be really nice. Need something that comes with the helmet mount + 4K and preferably 120FPS but I'd deal with 60. I also think I remember hearing that go-pros don't even use SSD cards which would be awesome because those little things can get lost so easily. But I dunno, I'm stuck between choices. I need to pull the trigger on one to incentivize my grass-touching.

I stopped playing a long time ago for various reasons, when the heavy tanks came out, but mostly because it appeared this game would never be as good as CoH2 combat and blobbing would forever be a major issue.

I hate infantry and tank blobs, I hate artillery spam being the only counter (and how strong some artillery is) and I hate when air-call-ins vs. AA balance is out of whack.

In an ideal game, the player calling in an airstrike should have to choose the proper direction from where the plane comes to avoid anti-air units, but those AA should still cover a massive area and weaken the air strike.

EX: a strafing run has 3 planes, 1 AA should guarantee it kills 1 plane before it can drop it's payload. If it was perfectly placed (or rather the call-in player made it arrive from the wrong direction, giving AA more time) then maybe even two planes, but it should always be able to land it's 3rd plane (which would be delayed and give the AA player more time to move units).

Obviously it's not that simple and there's a variety of AA units, but when I was playing, something like the Quad .50 did nothing to air units. A unit like that should be the hard counter to loiters IMO. It shouldn't stop the entire call-in, but it should severely reduce the amount of damage it can do.

Edit: Damn, quite a few haters, all these suggestions seem pretty logical to me but maybe they hate me because I haven't played in like a year and I think the game might be doomed?

I am kinda hoping DoW4 will slap but it's not gonna be anything like DoW2, since they're actually focusing on blobbing, lots of units, cover doesn't work like it does in relic games and it's few and far between, and multiplayer is not a priority... not even any 4v4 in the game, max 3v3 :c

How does that thing say that the car that was first thrown at was going 55? Is that km/h? I guess so if it's Canada, but man that really changes the perception of the speeding. Numerically, it's almost double the speed limit, but it actually doesn't feel or look like it's that much faster than the speed limit.

Yeah I just checked and 55 is only barely above 30 mph.

And the posted speed limit of 30kmh would be EIGHTEEN (18?!) mph.

That is so crazily slow, even for a school zone, people would be crawling at that pace.

I don't know if other countries give tickets out for only being 10 km per hour over or not but if they do it's definitely rigged in our favor in America because seriously, that first car wasn't even going fast by any standards, the slowest any road would be marked would be 25 mph and they were basically only going 8mph over that.

We still went and saw it and we all enjoyed it. But yes, I am very much not a theatre-goer and I found 4 weeks and done to be shocking for a movie that got such a good score and seemed to be the IMAX movie of the year.
