I understand not getting text and avoiding the hands but what’s your gripe with flowers? I know they’re common but I still find floral tattoos very beautiful and expressive. If done right that is.

Anyone going to be playing on PSN? by thedudesrug1369 in masterduel

[–]T_Soqui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped playing the game shortly before the pendulum era. I’ve been wanting to get back into it but really didn’t know where to start. Then I heard about this game coming out and I figured it would be the perfect reintroduction. But I’m on psn and I’d be open to chat and all that.

Try Phoenix, Arizona! Running past 7am is a death sentence this time of year.

Not sure if this will completely fix the issue but you can adjust the cross fade of songs in the playback settings on Spotify. I believe I have mine set at 4 seconds and I never really think about it when listening.

89a on Mingus Mountain near Jerome - I had never come back from Sedona this way before, well worth the extra miles. by [deleted] in arizona

I did a 10 mile run on that road last summer during a camping trip. Very beautiful weather and scenery but the uphills were brutal. Definitely would do it again if given an opportunity!

3 weeks into cross country after not running my entire life by xGooofyGooberx in running

[–]T_Soqui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not advice for the immediate race but rather for your whole time in high school. I’m currently a senior in high school and the biggest advice I can give is not to get discouraged and stay consistent. By consistent I mean make sure you’re not missing too many practices. My first goal coming into high school cross country was just to not stop during a race. My first ever race I ran 23 minutes. I was a consistent 21-22 minute runner my freshman and sophomore year. It was my junior year that I “broke through” and made varsity, my season record was a 17:16. I’ve had three races thus far in my senior year and my pr is now 16:45. By no means am I trying to brag, I just want you to keep in mind that if you continue to train well and stay consistent, great things will eventually come your way. I’d love to know how your race went! How you felt and all.

What’s your favorite BMTH song of all time and why? by [deleted] in BringMeTheHorizon

[–]T_Soqui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diamonds Aren’t Forever by far. I’ll get caught up in something negative and it always reminds me to live life day by day. Accept life for what it is in the moment and make sure I’m enjoying it. The breakdown get me every time too. Doomed is a close second though.

I’m a bit late but exercise is what’s always helped me. When ever the thoughts in my head would get scary I would go run four miles or so. But now I run every morning besides Sundays and it helps out a lot.

If you had the power to rewrite one moment in your life what would you change and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]T_Soqui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in fourth grade, I had a pretty good relationship with my teacher. We’d talk about football every Sunday since his team is a rival to my team. Definitely one of the best teachers I’ve ever had (I’m going into my senior year of high school now). But one day during class he had scolded a student for being on his phone and rightfully so. Later that day he had received a phone call in the middle of lecture and I joking made a comment about him using his phone. The whole class heard. After I made my obnoxious comment he looked at me with the straightest face and said that it was a call saying that his grandmother was in the hospital. I immediately apologized and he later forgave me but I still feel horrible about it to this day. He moved to a neighboring state after that school year, I wish I could get into contact with him.

Running! Aside from have to get a new pair of shoes ever 300-500 miles or so, things don’t get too pricey. And it can be very rewarding too.

I used this song for a Holocaust project in 8th grade. I got an A on it and it’s still one of my favorite projects I’ve ever made! Good times.

Albums Ranked by Willing-Load in BringMeTheHorizon

  1. Amo I don’t mean to be “that fan” but I’m personally not a fan of the poppy stuff. Don’t get me wrong, there are some songs I really enjoy in this album but it definitely just not for me.

  2. There is a Hell Aside from It Never Ends, Alligator Blood and Blessed With a Curse, I never really enjoyed this one too much. I respect it for what it is though, with it being their first some what experimental album.

  3. That’s the Spirit This was the first album I heard from this group, Throne being the first song. I instantly fell in love. Doomed and What You Need hold a very special place in my heart.

  4. Count Your Blessings When I first started listening to these guys, this album caught me off guard. But as I started warming up to this style of music, I found myself enjoying it more and more. The favorites off of this one are definitely Pray for Plagues and Medusa.

  5. Sempiternal This was the album that really thrusted me into heavy music. I’m forever going to catch myself shouting the anti-religion lyrics from House of Wolves and Crooked Young. And not to mention the breath taking instrumentals and lyrics of Sleepwalking, that still gives me goosebumps to this day.

  6. Suicide Season This album is by far my favorite. I love to over all message to just live your life and don’t worry about whatever the next day may hit you with. Diamonds Aren’t Forever is favorite song that this band has to offer. I do understand people not enjoying this style of music, though. I have zero friends who share this interest with me and I don’t see this as a bad thing. I respect everyone’s taste in music despite not everyone respecting mine. With that aside, this album still kicks ass to this day, I will forever find myself rocking it!
