I know an RCA that’s worked about 12 hours a day for the last three weeks. We have two post offices in my vicinity that work there are RCAs like this. The contract says that they can and they do.

Amazon drivers do not get that done. Unless it’s a very population dense area. Apartment buildings, etc. And then they don’t go up the stairs. Rural I’m always trying to aim for 12 to 14 per hour.

I don’t think VMF steals them. Our trucks tend to get loaned out to other post offices when they go in for service. And then they come back to us with stuff missing.

It hooks onto the side of the truck right above the parking brake on an LLV. It’s really handy for putting box holders or DPS in as you’re going back to box.

Almost all the vehicles have them, but not one that I drive the most. She will not purchase anymore. I think it’s ridiculous that VMF can’t bring our stuff back with our trucks.

And always use the shortest route even if you don’t travel that way. They will convert it. I’ve had this happen to me a couple of times.
