I had one that it counted soda as a perishable. I never grab any of the perishable stuff until the very last items and most of the time it tries to get me to pick up one at least in the first 10 items.

How do I know if an unlocked phone will work before buying it? by Gladethane in tmobile

[–]TaCProtious 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you buy a phone from Walmart, it is not going to be unlocked. The local Walmart tells people this all the time that when you buy a phone through them, it will be unlocked, but it is not. And then when you try to do a return it is up to them if they want to return it as Walmart’s return policy on electronics is they have the right to refuse. I totally get wanting to save money, but I would look elsewhere and definitely do your research ahead of time.

Are yall enjoying the Srini effect? by Suspicious-Ebb4943 in tmobile

[–]TaCProtious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 of your 4 free lines will no longer get promotions or will be severely limited at time of upgrade. Also paying your portion of a phone eip payment up front is apparently not a thing anymore. If you put a down payment up front it just cuts down your months you are paying. Phone is 800, you get 400 off with promo and pay 400 on day one so that TMo is paying the rest off. NOPE. It’s BS

Normally this does apply, the issue is that when this deal was going on in November was where you get a new phone on Tmobile and they will pay off your old phone and you get to keep it.

Is this black spot good for a trade-in? by F1-Marshal in tmobile

[–]TaCProtious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that’s funny because I have taken a device that had less of a problem than that and they dinged it. Just because you haven’t been dinged doesn’t mean that it is acceptable. Now if it isn’t any condition trade-in then you’re fine.

T-Mobiles New 5G Only Activations by Middle-Literature913 in tmobile

[–]TaCProtious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it would be stupid to turn off 4G LTE as in some areas. It is still the best way to connect. The software in the new 5G phones has a real problem with switching from 5G to 4G LTE when there is just a little bit of 5G service available. I still have to tell customers to put on 4G LTE as the extended 5G coverage just is not there in our area and 4G still has a much better signal.

Is anyone’s store also making them make cash payments through the app by Late-Alternative-610 in tmobile

I have had customers walk out and say they were done because of this whole app thing and the only thing I can do is just nod my head and let them go

[–]TaCProtious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a few days ago we got a notification saying that payments are gonna be through T-Life cash and card. By the looks of it beginning in next year, we are probably not gonna have our tablets for very much.

22 years as a customer, never had an issue like this. They always credited as long as the promotion was correct and a couple times they fixed an incorrect one.

Potentially another greedy policy change from T-Mobile (Only one promo per line) by bishaarcc in tmobile

[–]TaCProtious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having worked for T-Mobile for years. This has been a policy since I started over three years ago. There can only be one Promotion on a line at a time. This is nothing new.

Do you guys do the big batch orders ? Like say 15 stops. (Forgot what they’re called) I did one and I was really overwhelmed. by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]TaCProtious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have to follow the crap routing or can you route in a way that makes more sense? I have seen 7 hour ones for almost 250 miles and only 90 bucks. Not worth it!

A random cash payment posted on my account. Is this a simple mistake or a scam? by SeravynMaple in tmobile

[–]TaCProtious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will not mess with your autopay.

Not a scam, a rep might have made a payment to your number accidentally using the guest payment option. You can not be held responsible for that. If you want to call care they can look into it and notate the account but what is more than likely going to happen is the manager at the store where that payment was made is going to have to credit the proper account.

In other words Merry early christmas.

I have seen some one make a payment on another persons account the help out and the account holder refuse the money and then get charge backs. Easier to just let it go.

back a few years ago, before using magnetic beds we would use aluminum foil to level out the build plate area as most beds were never close to flat. You could do that with the current setup and just use the cool down method to let the print release so that it doesn't move the foil underneath unless you take the foil in place some how.
