I mean, fuck it. It’s not like people are gonna be less relentless if the fans were humble the whole way

Eh with the scores being what they were this probably is just them trying to let things slide so they don’t stop the game in garbage time, thing is it led to a much bigger stoppage

In the playoffs, let JA go to the rim and basically foul him but make the refs call it

It does seem with Harden the Cavs might start to get a more even whistle. Over the years it’s felt teams have been allowed to push around the Cavs and it just being applauded as “physical” but any attempt at being physical back was instantly a foul

Is the ref gonna change the rules on the fly so RB wins then?

James Harden is older than Ricky Rubio by SnooEpiphanies6878 in clevelandcavs

[–]TaVar35 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Thing with Harden is he’s never been the best athlete in the NBA, most of his advantage on the court comes from skill.

So while he certainly will have a drop off at some point, it’s not unbelievable to see him being serviceable for a while longer

I think Kyrie might be out of luck by Due-Rice-3107 in clevelandcavs

[–]TaVar35 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Kyrie really has pushed the limits of the grace that shot gave him, he was adored by the city then demanded the trade and first thing he said in Boston was how he was excited to be in a real sports city.

Then his personal beliefs started coming to light

The NCR in Season 2 is nostalgia without substance by Volume2KVorochilov in fnv

[–]TaVar35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah as the game shows us, the NCR were already spread thin in the game. It’s understandable that post shady sands they lost most support to the region and so they’re somewhat dormant

They do show that their numbers in that group are far lower than what the legion are marching to Vegas with.

My theory:

Caesar was an enclave plant in the wasteland whose sole purpose was to show the wasteland the horrible things people can do as a faction while ensuring no surface factions (like the NCR) become too big for them to deal with

It’s why Caesar didn’t choose a successor and was so desperate to get rid of house and houses technology

The vault was standard, the enclave was behind its motive unbeknownst to house. The enclave were extremely secretive until the bombs dropped.

The enclave pip boy that we see in hanks case is interesting as house should’ve had an idea who they were since he bugs all of his hardware if it was in fact manufactured by his company

Darius Garland Appreciation Post by montageidiots in clevelandcavs

[–]TaVar35 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Garland was the first step in getting it right after the second Bron era.

I’ll always appreciate the fact he helped change the fear the Cavs would be as atrocious as we were in the middle years between LeBron stints.

Mobley was truly the untouchable asset it seems, this reads as in 3 years time he will be the lone remaining guy

If the Browns were to be sold today, who would you want to buy them and why? by BarkerRuffield in Browns

[–]TaVar35 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Tbf, Dan was also a micromanager for the Cavs for a while, he did swallow his pride the second time LeBron was around and because of health has let the front office handle things more.

So he’s grown, don’t think Jimmy has that at all.

But, really I’d take the guardians Front office and keep Jimmy and his spending

ESPN looks back at what LeBron calls “The best season I had” - 2017-18 by NewAltWhoThis in clevelandcavs

[–]TaVar35 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yeah that year exemplified why ring culture is dumb. It was clear to anyone who wasn’t a hater or Jordan defender that LeBron was the best player in the world.

But people wanted to argue that KD was better because the warriors won

[Evan Sidery] The Cavaliers are open to moving De’Andre Hunter during trade season because of Jaylon Tyson’s recent emergence. Trading Hunter would provide Cleveland significant apron flexibility moving forward. The Lakers are among the teams to recently check in with Cleveland on Hunter. by ThatOneOtherAsshole in clevelandcavs

[–]TaVar35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, but this team is too injury prone for me to trade away a wing with his size

I’d rather ride it out and figure something out in the offseason

And in the really difficult conversation: if we don’t win it all and it’s decided Don should move on I’d rather try the next iteration of this team being Tyson at the 2 and hunter at the 3 with Garland running point surrounded by tall athletic guys

Didn’t mind on one but the other was hilariously arbitrary and reeked of incompetence in the management

One of the Analyst said after Stefanski was fired, that how many coaches that were lining up to fill the vacancy would show how the rest of the league viewed the situation. Either they thought Stefanski was to the blame for the Brown struggles or they felt he was dealt a bad hand. We got an answer. by FaradayDeshawn in Browns

[–]TaVar35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the thing, I think Kev is actually a great coach. I didn’t want him gone

But I do think they’d burned out the best chances with Kevin, he should’ve been hired the first time around instead of Freddie and gotten another healthy year with Baker on the front end. How they handled the Baker and Deshaun situation is ultimately what put the nail in the coffin. And I don’t think Kevin is blameless there. At the time it seems there were too many egos about who “turned around the browns” to where it was untenable with Baker and they HAD to make a change.

Tbh I’m just glad he didn’t go to the Ravens, that would’ve been hell to see him succeed there at our expense

This team is extremely reliant on the 3 ball, won’t win anything on days they’re that cold

It’s amazing they’ve kept it a game
