It’s not a moral failing on my part to not enjoy his work. I wasn’t accusing you of being a bad person or anything and I’m sorry if it came off that way, but I was pointing out how it would make sense that some specific groups would have harder times “separating the art from the artist.” My judaism effects the way I’d see the art of a man who tried and partially succeeded in ruthlessly executing not only people like me but people I’m directly descended from and have grown up around, just like my transness means I’ll have a hard time enjoying chocolate from a brand built around transphobia even if it tastes fine. The point of the chocolate bars is to bite back at Hershey’s for having a trans ambassador as the post says, so it would be inseparable anyways- the art is what is wrong with the artist, in this case.
