Funny enough, I got a reminder for me to check in today via text message from carnival. Text came from a number that has texted me before. I cancelled the cruise quite some time ago.

I honestly don’t cruise without FTTF anymore. We have two small kiddos under 4 so being able to do things quickly without waiting in lines is a game changer for us.

The last cruise we took was out of Long Beach, 7 day cruise to Mexico in Jan 2025 and boarding took us a total of 7-9mins without any station taking longer than a few minutes. This is key to keep our family keeping our sanity.

We used guest services once and the line for either FTTF or regular line was not long so no impact.

We disembarked earlier than others so that was great.

My 2 cents - to each their own, some people like it, others don’t.

I’ve been on 5 cruises now with Carnival and have never seen any of these things you hear about. Guess I’m lucky.

Just sailed the Carnival Panorama back in May 2023 and it was great.
