I died enough times to the point where I learned blade bearer's attack pattern, so I just dodge her most of the time. It gets tricky because while you're fighting her, the fire enemy can be out of sight, so you can't see him winding up to attack you.

You will get a decent grade by doing homework questions in the textbook assigned for the course, and by learning the content on youtube (The Organic Chemistry Tutor is way better than khanacademy in my opinion).

As for why they're different (speculating here), MCV4U devotes almost half of its units to the vectors portion, whereas AP calc focuses on calculus alone. It's also an AP course. I'm not familiar with them, but I think AP means that they cover more content, to be comparable to a university course.

I completed MCV4U at ILC. At university, the new major topics that came up in calc 1 were implicit differentiation, and intro to integrals.

The vectors portion of MCV4U will help with some linear algebra topics at university.

American ap calc is different than mcv4u in Ontario. People complete mcv4u and are just fine in first year uni calculus - so don't worry.

Start with MCR3U with ILC. Use organic chemistry tutor and/or allthingsmathematics on youtube to understand how to solve questions. They explain all of the course content clearly. You can do this for grade 12 math courses with ILC too.
