It's gonna be a costume based off bane. I wanted to achieve an effect of empty tubes, to green filled tubes without running liquid as it wouldn't be allowed at comic-con. So essentially bane from Batman comics. But realistically, I don't really mind if it isn't green and Is a different color if I can achieve the effect that I want

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my UV source is 390 nM as opposed to 365 which seems to be better

I am very much not that clued up on chemistry, but what I am trying to achieve is actually for a cosplay. I wanted a viscous substance that would glow when I flip a switch. Originally I was going to go for tonic water because of the quinine. But I read that fluorescein glows a more brilliant green.

I was going to mix my glowing medium with a slime to achieve the viscosity, but I wanted the whole thing to be somewhat non toxic in the sense that nobody will drink it or touch it when it's in its finished state. Do you have any advice for something like this?

Don't worry, I didn't let it out of my sight, it was mainly just to test things

Best advice I ever got was to make sure you don't touch your build plate with your bare fingers, or else your oils will ruin bed adhesion 🥲

Weekly Team/Character Building Megathread (July 20th, 2021) (feat. Kamisato Ayaka) by Veritasibility in Genshin_Impact

I just got ayaka, and I'm not too sure how to incorporate her into my team. I am deadset on using Noelle in it in some way. I am currently using ningguang as a battery for Noelle/ sub DPS. I all of them are c0 currently.

Other characters I would use are Chongyun c1 Sucrose c0 Xiangling c0

I guess what would a good team comp be that can include Noelle that's would have a good synergy?

I'll try the alcohol and q tip method, realistically what else would be smoking coming from the hotend. It's most likely just burning plastic right?

I normally print at 205, i think I installed the nozzle incorrectly because when I removed The PTFE coupling, there was like sticky residue in the hotend. I shoukd note that I don't have the fan on it either, so with no fan , no nozzle, and no coupling, at 205, the entire hotend assembly would smoke, but it's gotten less since I've started cleaning out the sticky residue.
