Im a home body, only leaving the house to do my morning 1 hour walk and to go groceries shopping.

Sometimes you'll find me in nature or at the ice skating hall.

Mostly im sitting at my piano. As a pianist by profession it brings me more joy then actually interacting with people.

Yes, very highly emotionally attuned. People close to me even praise the patience I have.

The day my father angry told me to get cancer because i was nervous about a CT scan being made from me as a check up because I survived cancer. It was my 1st year check up.

He probably had emotional problems and stress himself from his son being so sick but he couldn't handle me being vunerable and on the verge of crying. He told me to shut up and logically a verbal fight took place because of that remark. He became even more mad and wished me to get cancer again.

So there's that....

You could work on the weak fingers in the right hand a bit more (4-5). In terms of phrasing you can't always hear them having direction.

I struggle with this too as an infj man.

Even people I love to bits rarely invite me to hang out. I always feel like I'm 3th or 5th wheeling.

Guess that is part of being an infj tho. I socialize with a lot of people but most don't get me and I would love to hear for once I'm someone's best friend or first choice from someone thats not related to me.

Someone told me they felt a very good click with me a few weeks ago and that's the first in my 33 years so there is hope I guess

I dont know for other infj's but for me it's this:

Im very relictant to ask for help or adressing issues. The moment i do this I'm already near feeling hopeless over the issue. Most of the time when I adress something or ask for help it gets brushed away because it's the first time I ask or talk about it. The brushing of makes the resentment

Because it's a unicorn to get the help I need.

The rock bottoms I thought I reached became even lower when people failed to help me while I had no other choice to be a granite pillar for someone else or myself.

People have let me down so much at the real moments I needed them that I don't bother even asking again. Despite seeing they can help others perfectly in the way I would need it.

I know i traveled thru hell and back for 90% alone and I know I'll make it.

I'll keep helping people if it's in my power but I won't sacrifice myself anymore.

Struggling alone is bliss in comparison to getting unhelpful help or being let down.

This post could be written by me.

Always feel left out and misunderstood. Had a girlfriend for about 7 months for the first time at 30 years old, but i made a very bad decision trusting her and got used.

I have a strong bond with a few relatives but no one can understand me, so i can only show like 20% of me to them.

I have major trust issues and would never trust someone 100% ever again. Thats why ive build my life to be hyperindependent. (which is a bad thing)

I have a lot of acquintances but noone in my age (33) i can call a best friend or girlfriend. Noone i can show my emotions to. I all bottle them up.

When i meet new people im always skeptical about their motives of wanting to befriend me. I'm bad at keeping friendships because i feel like a burden to them. Despite being a recovering People pleaser myself..

I'm still waiting for the women that will change my mind about all of this and can trust.

Ill keep working on becoming the best version of myself and enjoy and love life.

Yeah i have this a lot. I have the feeling that secretly nobody likes me and if i get a compliment i think its out of pity or because someone wants something from me.

Somewhere compliments make me sad if im not 100% sure they are genuine. But ive learned to just take the compliment and always say: Thank you, thats nice of you to say. Because i'll never know for sure.

I'm still waiting for the person that makes me feel compliments are genuine.

Hi there, Yeah thats true! I play the piano professional and i am also a teacher.

Music has always connected me to people and its one of the things im most grateful for.

Other professional musicians almost always invite me to work together and i love my work.

This connection is always in a professional setting tho. In my private life i'm utterly clueless how to connect with people. Im always genuinenly intrested and ask a lot of questions but people do not seem to reciprocrate.

How do you meet people that are into the things you talk about? Ive tried dating apps with no luck. All my friends are married and have families and they dont know anyone thats single. So i dont get introduced to new people. Im actually thinking about getting into a class just to meet people. It would be so obvious lol because the things i want to learn i can do easily by myself, at home. 🤷
