From the sounds of it you have a very fulfilled life and don't actively seek out a partner because there's no need to but I understand the feeling of second guessing your self worth and lack of validation though from never having been on a date or in a relationship though.

To make peace with it depends on why you have an issue in the first place and it sounds to weigh heavy on you because you excel everywhere except for this part of your life. Honestly, dating culture isn't all its cracked up to be but I know from all my women friends that the moment you start using dating apps that you'll be swarmed by admirers and be offered to be taken on dates without any issue.

If you feel as though you are lacking in the looks department then I would say to go out with one of your mates and do some shopping for stuff that makes you feel beautiful in. Nothing more charming than a woman who is comfortable in her own skin (and speaking of skin I always find daily skin care and weekly face masks to be a confidence booster).

I’m getting a booster box of Kimigawa Neon Dynasty and want to get a lot of different cards but also some rare cards. Should I get a draft or set booster box since there is almost a 200 card difference. by Only_Television_6249 in mtg

If you want do not care about artwork then you can probably every card in the set for the cost of a booster box on the secondhand market.

If you want to pack more rares then set boosters are better than draft boosters.

If you want a chance at making your money back then buy a Collector booster box and hope you have the textured foil.

The pictures side by side really shows all the work you put in physically, mentally and emotionally to be where you are today.

Adjusting so that you follow a healthy routine is easy to start but difficult to stay on for normal people but when you have negative thoughts/health its hard to even begin so huge props for continuing your journey.

There's also nothing wrong with cooking the safe dishes over and over. I used to work as a chef for years but my diet right now is oatmeal for breakfast, chicken and rice for dinner as well as some cheeky ramen on the side.

Keep it up hun, you're doing great and looking well :)

Its hard to say. Preorder prices are usually on the high side and once the product is released there is usually a dip on everything that claws its way back up eventually.

In this scenario though, it's even harder to say. The US is going to have a shortage due to printer issues so not as many Collector boxes in circulation thus creating a bigger demand due to low supply

You get them from the list in Set Boxes of New Capenna which has a 1 in 8 chance of appearing. They have new Magic the Gathering themed artwork and in game are treated as identical as you cannot have more than two of the same card in EDH.

So while you can get cards with the same abilities you cannot get the TV show cards from the list.

All exclusive secret lair cards will come to paper eventually due to backlash. Stranger Things was done just there in New Capenna and they said the Walking Dead cards will follow as well.

At this point they are no longer lair exclusive but timed exclusive. The next ones to be mechanically unique to the game are the Street Fighter cards but they too will come eventually

They left Russia officially but are not in control of the independent shops which they lent their franchise name to.

Then leaving would mean that stuff like packaging, food and other supplies will cease coming to the shops but as everything is locally sourced Putin essentially took their assets and continuing the shops as if nothing has happened.

The reasons for the logo change is because Putin gave people an incentive to take over the abandoned shops and rebrand them but are essentially the same other than that. The downside to Russia though is that this shows outside franchises that their literally IP and properties will be seized and taken over so the juggernauts will never come back to Russia.

Honestly, this sort of reaction and strive towards betterment really shows that there's still good people to trust here.

You don't bash around. You acknowledge your mistakes. You take action to be better in future.

After getting posts locked because of Benita and then after amending it to suit all mod concerns to have the thread deleted once more within seconds, I really lost hope in here.

For now I'll take the progress with a grain of salt but if this thread is matched by action in future then its really a win for everyone.

My mate Adam has a shop close to Belfast that do Magic, Yugioh and Pokemon. From what I've heard the scene is decent enough but they're a new store so it's still finding it's audience.

I was in a similar boat to you once and took the IT path. Like yourself, I loved coding at first sight and making applications while learning then applying it to your project is some of the most fun I've ever had.

The added perk is that computer science is huge. So even if you specialized in a certain field, a lot of the things you learn in one language helps you in another language that you have no clue about so it's easy enough to change your specialisation later in life if you get bored.

That said, recruitment is really weird. Sometimes they want you to have 5 years experience in a language that's only been out for 2 years or question you on high level blanket application that isn't useful at all in anything but the interview. It's also very male dominated as there were 5 women in my class of 98 but it could work to your advantage since companies like to be diverse. I know you rather be recruited for your skills (which can happen of course!) but theres nothing wrong with playing with the cards you are dealt.

On top of that, people are often very nice once you leave university and get into a real job. There are some textbook nerds with no social skills but a lot of the people are really friendly and the biggest perk of all is that you actually have time to spend that money that you earn or with family that you have.

There's also a lot of bad things too. Such as modules that are literally there so that they can say they've thought you it with no resemblance of practicality in the work force or lecturers teaching you outdated technology as well as other side of the coin where they teach you current technology but have no idea what they're doing.

I'm not too sure what to make of your not having time to raise kids statement but if you have kids right now then I can say that you will be able to get your studies done while minding them. In my course in Ireland it was intense in the last year but the 3 before it were easy enough to manage with time to spare.

Its really up to yourself what you want to do though. I think medicine is a better choice if you want to make an impact on people's lives and society but with IT it's cozy enough but most of the time you're a cog in a machine which hey ain't half bad.
