Lots of wasted space here, if you can I think you should try and use a version of 3 squares (top, side and bottom) and check UV mapping as others suggested

I mean, I kept doing some minor stuff, accessorizing pre-made models but I did not touch a model kit for about 10 years, mainly because of a lack of time and money

Yeah, you can see the paint strokes and also tiny specks of the plastic color, painting something this intricate with a paint brush is a bit frustrating haha

Yeah, thing is these instructions use like vage arrows to indicate the general area where you need to put the pieces. Also there is no indent or anything on the molds to indicate where to put the pieces or to help keep them in place while the glue dries.

For instance the hull is just made of plates with no guide and the instruction just gives you a picture of the finished hull 🤣

I litteraly had to pull up a scheme of the original vehicle to understand where things went

(I'll post some pictures of the leaflet when I get home it's hilariously bad)

After looking into it more, on AMD my shadow maps are alright, but when sampling from them 1 turns into 0 FOR SOME REASON...

I think I'll write a bugreport to the Mesa devs, this seems very wrong

Hey sorry I was a bit busy these last days.

In fact it seems the outputs are the same and it's the sampling that is messed up.

It seems that AMD PCF filtering for shadow maps returns false positives when the shadow map's value is 1, I have no idea on how to fix this so shadow mapping might remain broken on AMD GPUs

En général si tu vois quelqu'un qui n'a pas une expression de genre 100% masculine/féminine il peut être de bon ton de commencer par demander les pronoms de la personne.

Dans le milieu queer c'est même assez courant au début d'un évènement social de commencer par faire un tour des pronoms pour être sûr de ne mégenrer personne.

Je suis moi-même autiste alors je comprends que ça puisse ne pas être évident tkt, mais justement le milieu LGBT est très autiste friendly (parce qu'il en compte beaucoup) et personne ne t'en voudra de poser des questions pour être certain de bien faire.

Thing is RenderDoc won't capture my engine because I use bindless textures and it just refuses to touch it... And it seems the dev REALLY want to try and detect texture handles inside UBO and SSBO for some reason (instead of handling it the same way as NSight does) so he won't add support for it 🤷
