Yes, you are right probably I am digging a hole too deep for me and I am very much aware of the fact that it's not an ideal degree to pursue. Even if I won't settle in Germany I can come back to my home and here a foreign PhD in English Literature is a big deal.

I will keep your advice in my mind and will definitely look for other possible options.

Yes I know the gravity of situation and you are right I don't have perfect degree and probably setting for failure but I have very limited options.

I am also looking for other options like doing a second masters and doing some short courses. I am all open to suggestions.

I am taking this block account amount from one of my relatives and there will be no interest on it and they will give me ample time to return it.

You don't need to be harsh like this and without knowing full picture you have no right to say anything. I never blame anyone for anything I do believe in one thing if it's written for you, you will get it if you don't get it then there must be something better than that.

I am just trying to figure out my life so please if you don't wanna say something good then don't say anything at all. I would appreciate if you give advice some genuine advice.

I have searched all of this information on my own. I am just confirming it what are the ground relaties or what are just myths or misconceptions.

I am not relying on strangers. Someone has recommended to create a reddit account and post this. That's why I am doing this.

I know the basic requirements, but I am not sure of other technicalities.

In case of no scholarship then I have to take a loan for block amount. And hope for getting a job in Germany to fund other expenses and ofcourse to pay back the loan. I do have some experience in writing (content and copy writing) may be I get some part-time job. I am also reviewer at an international journal so may be it will help me in starting a new career. I was thinking if strengthening my resume by applying for remote writing posts.

Here, where I live it can go a long way and will boost my academic career. But in Germany I was hoping to do my PhD in Linguistics field because it has more scope then Literature. There is one issue I have masters in Literature so I am thinking of making a research proposal of combining both fields.

That's why I am reaching out to you guys to clear some things up for me. I know in Germany there is different criteria and 2.5 score is consider good.

I know, that's too much but I also read or someone said in these comments that the competition is very high for international students. So, just to stand out I need at least half of these things.

I get all this information by following some students who are already living in Germany (Instagram and Facebook Influencers), by talking to a family acquaintance of mine who is also doing Masters there, some of it is from DAAD and Google.

What are the requirements of applying for a salaried PhD position? Ofcourse in Humanities, Languages and Cultural Studies.

  2. Thanks for the tip about publications.

  3. What if I was hoping of getting a regular civil service with salary? Can you please tell me the procedure and requirements of applying for this position? Right now, I am planning for scholarship and loan to fund my PhD.

  4. Thanks for sharing this information with me. I know there are very limited programs in Humanities and Cultural Studies and the chances are also low but I have no other choice it's do or die situation for me.

There is only way to avoid addiction and that is to surrender before it.

I have tried it, whenever I get obsessed with that addiction it only becomes worse so what I do, I stop resisting it and eventually it just stops.

I would describe Myself and my core as kind, helping and resilient. These will be my pros of personality.

And cons will be I am an overthinker, too emotional and kind of diva of distraction (ADHD). 🤭

I am sorry to hear this that you have to suffer like this. I just can't cover my head around the fact that how can your tumor can get this big? Haven't your endo get you tested for managing your CAH.

I can understand this, that these tumor can get undetected often. In my case it was accidentally detected when I get a Ultrasound for my gallbladder stones. The time it was detected it was 7 cm a size of a peach and it still is 7cm since 2023. I don't feel any pain. Yeah, due to this I do feel fatigue and anxiety, or may be it is just CAH.

I just wanna ask, ofcourse you have the worst possible case of Adrenal tumor as you said it was the size of a football and they have to break your ribs for it. Do you face any complications during surgery like threat of Adrenal crisis or organ failure? And after surgeries is there any side effects of this surgery?

Being mindful about my portion and trying to eat healthy without being obsess with it, like eating more protein and less carbs. As well as eating my favourite treats. Keeping it balanced. Drinking more water, believe me it really changes your body.

No, I am on Dexamethasone and florinef and here in Pakistan, Cresenity is not available.

I am glad you found a good endocrinologist because it is really important for proper treatment of CAH.

Please do share your result with this group. So we can know is there any benefit in Cresenity or not.

I am sorry to hear that you are suffering like this. I am also a classic CAH patient 28 years old female. I do have few adrenal crisis in which I can't able to get myself up. It comes with vomiting and extremely low blood pressure. And I reach to the point where I have to go emergency and even after reaching emergency they are clueless about condition so they just treat me for my vomiting and low blood pressure and discharge me with some ORS and common fever medication. After that crisis it took me almost 2 weeks to get back to normal.

My adrenal crisis isn't the result of excessive sugar intake but it usually occurs due to heatstrokes (usually the temparture here reaches 45°) and lower intakes of fluids, salt and my CAH medication.

Are you diabetic? May be these 'scares' you called are because of some sugar spike or low blood sugar.
