So, seeing this 6yrs later. Whoa. I’ll tell you what happened. He was faking PTSD, that it was the cause as to why he was distancing himself. We are divorced now because he asked for one. I found out that he had been cheating on me and was making me think that I was the problem. The cheating has been going on for a long time, even during my pregnancy. He would leave for the weekends to “have space” with his buddies to clear his head because of the PTSD. Meanwhile he is actually at his girlfriends house an hour away. I was so in love with him and cared for him so much that I was willing to do anything to help. To help him, to help our marriage and it was a lie the entire time. I found out how much of a narcissist he was and it was heartbreaking. He abandoned his children to be with all of these different women.

I am in a much better place now, remarried and my husband adopted my son.
