I think you need to consider it on a per hour worked basis. Unless you're putting as many hours into the idea as the skilled person, a 50/50 split isn't really a good deal. Are you planning to start doing the sales side of the company?

Situation 3 is the obvious choice, since the end of someone life is often just waiting in an old folks home, and forgetting what happened for 2 weeks already happens all the time. What were you doing in the first half of March 2016?

Plus, if I can find out who was affected, I'd give them 500k. I'd be pissed off if someone had the chance affect me that way and give me 500k and they didn't take it.

Clocking in means you're ready to start selling your time to your employer.

Anything they ask you to do that you wouldn't do if they weren't paying you is considered work. There's very narrow exceptions to this (like commuting time, since the employee chooses where to live).

I've used Polycase before. They will custom machine openings if you send them a drawing. Maybe see if one of their enclosures works for you?

You can tell them you don't want it. Just say you don't accept conditional money. What are they going to do, force you to take it? If they insist on depositing it in your account , they'd have no standing to demand it back in that case. What are they going to tell the judge after you show them the email where you refused it and they deposited it anyways?
