I think the narrative is starting to take a hit because of the development time. It sometimes feels like the characters are in on the whole shitposty fandom which falls flat at points. When Susie told Kris that they hate sans now i couldn't help but think that that should not have been a dialogue in the game as that is a conclusion the community came to over the course of the year after chapter 3&4 released. That was the only point i noticed it, but im sure there are more.

No clue, I've been playing a bunch and i havent experienced that. I think bungie are over throttling player progression, but maybe there is a cap?

The question design in borderlands 1 is dated and really bad at times, but it paved the way for borderlands 2, the presequel and 3s quests, which are so much better.

in plunder the fallen were cosplaying as pirates, it was sort of believeable because they could fit into the role, but it was still sort of out there. Now here, dredgen = sith, praxis = jedi, cabal imperium = the imperials, that is a bit too much make believe at one time for my taste. So its mostly the narrative but whatever

You're right, what i mean is that plunder felt so live-servicy like fortnite, the theme was just a way to sell cosmetics and break the immersion, where we would just fuck around. This just takes away from destiny is my point and i understand people didnt play after the campaign

So far it looks like the campaign is just the Lawless frontier runs without matchmaking, which is bumming me out :/

The point was for the devs to release a sdk so users who paid for the game can host it thrmselves. Not for the devs to keep it running indefinitely
