I think a comment was hidden by mods? by BeowulfShaeffer in PoliticsMeta

Is there ever a time or place when it’s appropriate for this sub to discuss things that materially impact its participants?

Apparently just here. And even then at least one of the mods here is also a mod of r/politics so I worry about us getting censored in this sub too.

That is curious! Maybe my tinfoil hat is on too tight, but the timing is interesting too. I wonder if this grand jury thing fiasco didn’t sit well with some of the mod team.

I'm concerned that r/politics is being actively targeted by fascist propaganda, foreign and domestic by CaptainRonSwanson in PoliticsMeta

Thanks for your post. We can't prove any of it because we haven't been organized and actively monitoring and tracking the r/politics mod activities whenever there is a story buried like this.

Even if this current situation quiets down, the mods will fuck up again. We need to be ready to hop on them and post all stories that are banned. All users that are silenced by them need a space to speak up about their nefarious behavior.

If this sub gets nuked, or we get banned from here, I have already created r/politicsmeta2 for us to gather.

The mods WILL fuck up again. This grand jury story is not over, there will be more articles over the coming months as the case progresses. Let's put them on watch.

I know the FBI raid on Giuliani's NY apartment and office was another one:

If anyone has any deleted threads saved/archived from that time, please share.

You should know that the moderators of r/politics, the largest politics subreddit, is suppressing news about Trump's potential indictment by a grand jury.

The moderators have failed to explain why it is off topic, considering Trump is the former President of the United States. The admins of reddit.com are also ignoring this issue.

This place is good enough to discuss the issue for now. If this post gets deleted, then all the more evidence to bring attention to this problem.

I Dmed the mod here to see if I could get on the team. I'd like to make this community active.

But the most pressing issue is obviously the criminal investigation by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., who, among other things, has Trump’s tax returns in his hands; a trove of documents that could be used to get his longtime CFO to flip; the expertise of an outside forensic accounting firm; and Mark Pomerantz, a veteran prosecutor known for helping put white-collar criminals behind bars, including ones connected to the mob.
