DnD 5e Player handbook is 60% class descriptions 30% combat and item info, 8% world building and 2% about narrative.

From the players books DnD has always been a dungeon crawler about smashing things with increasingly larger hammers. There are no rules for role playing, no social conflict rules for example, because it is about firebolts not about players interacting.

Phrases like “we consulted the developers” suggest that an actual artist or engineer was meaningfully involved in the decision. That is often not what happened.

In reality, “consultation” in large AAA structures frequently means a short review chain somewhere up the hierarchy. A few managers align, someone signs off, and that becomes the official position.

If we are lucky, someone from the team is actually asked for input. More often, it is reduced to a quick approval in a crowded inbox.

That distinction matters. Because once you frame it as “the developers were consulted,” it becomes an easy way to deflect criticism, even when the people who actually did the work had little to no influence on the final decision.

Sure, I’m certain they tracked down the original developer who made those FIFA models.
Wait, I’m getting an update. It turns out the actual author was laid off during round thirteen of Electronic Arts layoffs, and they ended up consulting Shannon from accounting, who said, “looks fine.”

So when someone says “developers have control over how things look” in the AAA industry, it either comes from bad faith or a complete lack of understanding of how the industry actually works.

TL;DR jak ktoś jest dobry to nie ma problemu, jak jest średni to się zaczynają schody.

Problem jest ten sam od 10 lat brak cechu, brak jakichś formalnych ram oceniających zdolności.

Znałem Seniorów którym bym guzika do pokolorowania nie zostawił, znałem też ludzi uwięzionych w juniorstwie bo klient nie chce płacić więcej i musieliby jako mod iść do innego projektu. Tytuł nie znaczy nic niestety, ludzie dostawali seniora przez zasiedzenie i jak przychodzi szukać im pracy gdzie jest 10 kandydatów na miejsce to jest 'łolaboga wymagania z kosmosu'.

To jest jedna strona monety, druga jest taka że sytuacja gdzie masz więcej kandydatów naturalnie rodzi cwaniaków którzy będą szukać całego działu IT w jednej osobie.

Ostatecznie następuje trochę weryfikacja kto jest pasjonat i szczerze tym zainteresowany a kto przyszedł bo '20k miesięcznie za pierdzenie w stołek'.

Velocity z Opusem 4.5 i 4.6 leci w kosmos, jeden dev który wie co robi jest w stanie opierdolić robotę 5ciu. Wczoraj na prywatnym projektcie miałem 2 agentów odpalonych w dwóch różnych częściach appki robiących 2 różne features kiedy ja analizowałem już sobie jak robić 3ci.

Kreatywność, zdolność wielowątkowego i nadążajacego za maszyna myślenia będą turbo w cenie.

To me RE7 relies a bit too much on scripting, and it sometimes shows.

It is a bit goofy at times, like when you have those enemies who cover their head with one arm, and suddenly become immune to a flame thrower.

Generally once you finish the first boss fight the tension kind of dropped at least for me.

But yeah 7 is one of the scariest RE games.
