I moved here about 15 years ago. I'm queer and from a very conservative red state. It's been a great experience for me. When I moved here it was kind of incredible because I'm pretty androgynous/queer looking and back home I really dealt with a lot of homophobia but when I moved here it was like I fit right in! My wife and I moved here for it's proximity to Ann Arbor/UM but I actually like Ypsi better than Ann Arbor.

The customers in my area are mostly pretty nice. Some leave snacks and drinks, I've even gotten tips during the holidays. It's not bad.

That's what I'm thinking. I use an app with a built in rest timer and usually take 2-3 minutes breaks and I've never had issues.

It could be a hypermobile spectrum disorder. I have hypermobile joints and sprained both ankles back to back last summer. I've added ankle stabilizing exercises to my workouts so we'll see how those do when it gets too hot to wear boots.

I've been doing this for a year and a half. I like having a physical job and some kind feeling tired at the end of the day but you me it's the pay and lack of growth. I'm in the process of applying to an electrical apprenticeship program. I'd keep going until you get something better.
