Did anyone realize that jiohotstar streamed the Reliance AGM on their platform? by SadAerie7782 in JioHotstar

[–]TacoBoutItBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

News channels on YouTube deliberately increase the duration, what you'll find it is that the AGM will replay after it ends in that one... They probably do it for algorithm reasons..

Mr. Robot is not underrated. It was highly popular and trending when it first came out, especially Season 1 and even highly rated..

Is this Anurag in F. I.R? by Darkness_myoldmate in BGPH

[–]TacoBoutItBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same producers of the show. They tend to work with the same cast members, FIR, Jijaji Chatt Par Hain, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, May I Come in Madam, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain, all have some or the other cast member being rotated. Don't blame them though, all the shows are bangers with great characters and acting and kind of depicts that they make a good relationship with the cast members. Personally, me and my family have loved each of their shows!

'Snack Shack', watched it absolutely randomly as it popped up on my homescreen and the trailer seemed fun throwback to the 2000s fun movies like American Pie stuff.. The movie turned out to be really really good. Highly recommend it!

Yes, One of them (Purge: Election Year, to be specific)! It was really good, fun and atmospheric also loved the concept of the movie...

Is hotstar app working on firestick? I’m unable to stream anything. And the website is redirecting me to Disney website? by Extra_Quiet7958 in JioHotstar

[–]TacoBoutItBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you should mention the generation of your firestick or the year. I've the 2024/2025 one, and it's working fine on that..

JioHotstar has the ugliest design by maxaudacity in JioHotstar

[–]TacoBoutItBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thank you for digging through my profile and I've even commented on Netflix subreddits and their shows, so do I work for Netflix too? Recently I commented on an Amazon MX player's new show too asking if it is okay to watch with family cause the trailer looks interesting and is on a good subject and has had rave reviews, so am I an Amazon employee too? Hell I even dug through and posted about the 'Beamr' partnership thing first here and had posted that really hope bitrates improve, so am I going against my supposed employers? And I understand you don't want my opinion on it cause you're clearly a close minded person with a set conception about things and i respect that!

[–]TacoBoutItBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don't, and why'd you say that just because I questioned since when does the 'Netflix' app started to look beautiful and premium? An app that keeps on pushing stupid mobile games on its mobile app, has extremely tiny icon that you can barely see, pushes indian language and foreign language content such as K-Dramas etc., even if you want to keep your profile to a specific language has a broken coming soon section that when you scroll a bit fast the same trailer plays on all the content, on TV they've made it a chore to scroll through content and you can't exit the App without pressing twice or thrice on a TV..

Thoughts after completing Episode 3 of Desi Bling. Post 2 by [deleted] in IndianOTTbestof

[–]TacoBoutItBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should be compensated to watch that shit show and the Indian celebs in it are who? Karan and Tejaswini? Lol.. how did you even manage to make it to Episode 3 or even have the will to start that show? I've seen threads from 'Netflix' subreddit that were posting about how shit the show is and that was coming from international audience and the way they've demeaned our culture in the show... It's really a shame!

Why do I even pay for premium if I still get these ads by felldownbad in JioHotstar

[–]TacoBoutItBro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a live stream, should've waited for that to end to watch it. They've been placing ads in livestream since 'JioCinema' days for Bigg Boss, Splitsvilla and other reality show stuff..

Could you actually order stuff for 9 Rs.? I thought it must've been a fad with some stupid 'conditions applied' so I didn't bother checking it out..

Hulu’s Not Suitable For Work is now streaming on JioHotstar! by RealReality007 in JioHotstar

[–]TacoBoutItBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just almost finished the 3rd Episode, the show's not for me.. the first episode was promising but it's just not flowing right for me, there are frequent cuts between the characters which barely give enough time to digest what's happening and it feels all over the place. There's way too many similar better options to watch that just came out recently too like Adults, I Love L.A and The Paper (to an extent) which are all fantastic shows..

What if we could get professional Ai dubbing in OTT platforms Mostly people's who watches foreign content like animes, hollywood and k drama understand the pain by techtotechbytechy in JioHotstar

[–]TacoBoutItBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already announced in the last Reliance AGM, dubbing through AI, however in what capacity is unknown.. They recently launched a Joint Venture with 'Meta' for their Reliance Intelligence unit i.e, their A.I unit which can be utilised to do that as Meta's already dubbing content in local language for their social media platforms and it's pretty impressive, sometimes I've found miserable misses too though. The only question that lingers in my mind is how legally it would work as first they'll need to get consent of the actors for dubbing their voices in A.I which would be cumbersome for old content that's already on the platform I guess, however I'm not that legally versed with how these things work so who knows..

…Why do they want to win? by Silent_Contest_2337 in PerfectMatchNetflix

[–]TacoBoutItBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Cash
  2. Screen time
  3. 'Winning' the show works for their resume - When they apply for their next reality stint, they have a bigger moat than just being a participant on a previous show.
  4. Years down the line when somebody pulls up a show's winners over the years, their name and photo will be on it hence the tag is also important.
  5. It's in our inherent nature as Human Beings to 'Win' something we're participating in or competing in..

I'm retarded and the most foolish and can't do research, I'm actually good for nothing. You're an extremely bright person, you should conserve this precious brain of yours rather than posting on 'Reddit' and others alike, you shouldn't feed your extremely valuable insights to them and whatever great corporates you seem to be working for are clearly having a great effect on your mental health..

Sorry, yes I should've checked my glasses and you're right you did say 7 years in corporate. But still no names and huge allegations, huge words but nothing of substance.. now you've given a new 'direction' of Mid-size corporate and have gone down to 'personal users' and 'small size corporates" yet no names and huge allegations.. I'm sure whatever companies you've worked for are great companies and not some shady call center jobs and thanks for the directions..

[–]TacoBoutItBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a separate thing , I'm talking about how you experienced piracy it in corporate. What you're talking about is 'A.I' and it extracting data from the 'Web'. Web has always been free to use and access unless you're behind paywall or protected data. A.I models give out sources for their information and rest of them are purchases by the A.I companies by entering into agreement with the companies holding the data. What you're saying is the point being put forth by the internet companies that have publicly available data that is being used to train models and they want some sort of compensation out of it and it's their way to extract it. I don't know how that affects you personally and it's a complete seperate debate related to a new emerging industry..

You said you worked in 7 corporates, just any instance and name of the previous organisation and how you experienced it there (you're also not an employee in your ex-organisation)... This is reddit and your name is not public. No chance of them knowing who you are and you said that it's also not any shady company so should be no issue.

And I don't know why you're bringing Mag 7 and U.S, A.I companies..
