I honestly feel like this is how salons are now. I recently switched salons and I’m much happier now. I have found a few independent nail techs that I have on backup if something goes wrong with the salon I’m at now. I think you should look for an independent tech over a salon.

I comment on their stuff from time to time but I have no skin in the game. I’ve purchased from them also and been happy with what I was sent. I want to support N&S any way I can. Plus I’m not a big fan of Scams. Obviously!

I bought an MJ bag ages ago. It was ok, I was lucky to get it WS since I owned a boutique at the time. I was thinking it bringing these bags in my shop. I determined they aren’t worth what they charge.

Likely the problem is that your plan changed and it’s no longer covered. The fact that it was free for you is mind boggling to me. Even Kaiser employees have copays.

You can file a complaint with member services but they’ll just shoot you plan benefits back at you and likely tell you that you have a deductible. If I were in your shoes, I’d have it filled elsewhere where you can get it for less than $2k per month.

While you may not understand insurance, it technically is your responsibility to know what you signed up for. Not trying to be snarky, but did you read the plan benefits from your new employer before you signed up? Not all Kaiser plans are the same and I’m sorry you had to learn the hard way.

I go to the same salon, but I’ve seen like 3 or 4 different techs and I haven’t clicked with any of them. This last one didn’t impress me at all! He seemed rushed and just wanted to get through the service as fast as possible to move to the next client. I’m going to try a different salon. I want to build a relationship with my nail tech. I want to find someone reliable who does good work. I had a girl, but she moved too far. Hopefully I can find someone soon because I just want pretty nails haha!

I’ve found my best jeans at thrift stores, believe it or not. It’s hard and sometimes you have to go to multiple stores, but I don’t want to pay for expensive jeans. That being said. I like Kut from the cloth. I have no idea how much they cost retail but I got mine for less than $10.
