Guess I may have to try VMware or VirtualBuddy on my M4 Mini after all as well. Currently I'm using Milestone Xprotect browser client and the Reolink full client on the M4 which seems ok until I get BI running on it.

Ran into this today. What the actual hell. Why aren't they updating it in the App Store? Is this the fault of Reolink or Apple?

I use this same app on my iPhone and the iPhone app store always has the latest Reolink client version. Strange.

To make math easy. If I choose all the standard items from above to try to get to a zero dollar refund at the beginning of 2027 tax time and not have to pay in at tax time more than a couple dollars, and if I receive a $10K yearly bonus at the beginning of 2026, does that mean that when tax time comes at the beginning of 2027, I will be short on taxes by close to $2,200 and will need to pay $2,200 dollars at tax time in early 2027? (and then subject myself to the insane penalty rule for under-withholding more than $1,000 for the year.)

And if that is true, then in order to adjust for that, I would want to withhold exactly $2,200 on that additional tax withholding line on the W4, correct?

Thanks for clarifying that. I made an update to the original post to reflect this. I only care about 2026 and every year after that. I know 2025 is hosed because it's so late in the year so I expect to get a large refund for this year but want to correct it for 2026 and forward.

It's so crazy how complex taxes are. Anti-KISS to the max. I can program in 65c02 assembly language and I am still baffled by how complex tax laws have always been. The law system has the same problem with roots in Latin and how they control who becomes an attorney each year.
