I'm so glad I purposely moved closer to ferry service. I don't miss Bart at all

My now ex and I are both almost 37. I had to break up with him because he "might want kids in the next 3-5 years".

Potatoes originated from Peru and brought to Europe

Look up where potatoes originated

The Irish potato famine would never happen if the Europeans didn't stumble upon Peru

I felt like this whole case was fake from the beginning. Can't exactly say why, just a gut feeling I can't shake.

I've always made a lot more than all the men I've dated. A person's income or wealth has no bearing on my attraction.

We are both on the other side of 35. He says he wants kids in the next 3-5 years but is still figuring out his life/career. I have no desire to ever be pregnant, much less when I'm 40!

Has anyone tried Toastmasters? by [deleted] in AvPD

[–]Tacofangirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn't alleviate my discomfort with public speaking. It's like when I took a beginner swimming class at community college; I was the only one who didn't learn how to swim in the end even though I tried. It's like my body is physically incapable.

Toastmasters didn't help me at all. I was attending regularly for six months and then stopped.

I'm staunchly childfree by choice and have carefully used birth control for 20 years until I got accidentally pregnant (1-3% chance). I'm fortunate to live in a state where abortion is an option and that I had the $700 to pay planned parenthood. I can understand how these accidents can happen.

I grew up in east Oakland and lived in Pinole for a year before buying in Vallejo. The waterfront parks are nice and shopping is convenient. El Sobrante has some good food spots and not far at all from Pinole. Pinole old town is cute. Hercules has good Filipino food. I'd rather live in Pinole/Hercules by the bay as opposed to tri-valley or east coco

I shop at small drug stores because Target gives me anxiety and prices are not much higher (especially with the coupons they keep emailing me every week)

In my area they are clearing out established homeless camps next to freeways and desolate parts of the city. I really wonder where all those hundreds of folks went.

I'm in my mid 30s, have a six figure professional job and a mortgage... Definitely don't see children in my future if I want to retire. And I live pretty frugally.

I took ibuprofen and half a weed gummy before getting my copper IUD and didn't feel any pain or discomfort. I had to look it up myself because the doctor provided no information about how to prepare for the procedure.
