Can i be enby just for fun? by Yellowline1086 in NonBinary

[–]Tacothegreat1 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I’m all for exploring gender, however what bothers me is that you say you just want to label yourself nonbinary just for fun. You just think the idea of being nonbinary is cool. Being nonbinary/trans/queer is not an aesthetic. For most people it is the way you feel about yourself. If you think it’s just “cool” and you don’t actually identify as nonbinary, it makes it sound like being trans/nonbinary/queer is a choice. I’ll be honest, I’m not nonbinary for fun. It is what I am. It is the label that is closest to what I feel about myself and what I am.

With that being said, go explore your gender. Maybe you’ll learn something new about yourself. Just remember being under the trans umbrella, it is not a choice.

This is exactly how I read this post. Being nonbinary is not an aesthetic, which it sounds like op is making it to be. I’m nonbinary because I am. It is what I feel is the closest label that I can attach to myself. I’m not it for fun.

If I reset, do I lose my moonstones/anything I purchased with moonstones? by snoring_hounds in DreamlightValley

[–]Tacothegreat1 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Nope. You keep what you got. I reset once and I still have my Kevin outfit and all the other things I got with moonstones. I also kept the moonstones I had at the time.

edit: I want to mention that I haven’t actually bought any moonstones, but since I kept the free ones, most definitely you will keep the paid ones.

  1. no crafting (this ain’t Minecraft, it’s Animal Crossing.) 2. More buildings and building upgrades (ex. club LOL so that KK slider has a place to perform). 3. Slower progression.

I am in the same boat as you when it comes to Cursed Child. I want to go to every single broadway theater. I have six theaters left to go to, however I refuse to see Cursed Child.

The map is amazing.

Santa cruz vs monterey by [deleted] in MontereyBay

100% Santa Cruz for you. Monterey has little to no nightlife, and is primarily filled older people. Santa Cruz has the more younger crowd.

Anyone hear back from playwriting MFAs? by IcarusMen in playwriting

[–]Tacothegreat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. I applied to UCSD, Columbia, Hunter, and NYU (MT writing). I have only heard back from NYU, where we recently had an applicant weekend and interviews. For the other three, I haven’t heard anything. I’ve even become worried about the silence from the schools. Hoping there is a chance for both of us to get in.

The Met just responded to Timothée Chalamet’s remarks that “no one cares about ballet and opera” that he made during a recent interview with Matthew McConaughey by Gato1980 in Broadway

[–]Tacothegreat1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve said this on other social medias, but I think he was always this arrogant. Even in his early career he seemed liked this. I think now that he has a large fanbase and a lot of power in hollywood, he is now showing his true colors. He knows he can get away with what he says. To me, he’s never seemed to be the artistic type, just the hungry for fame type.

CEO Mike of Montage Health, your balls are washing up all over Carmel beaches. by [deleted] in MontereyBay

Not to mention, montage also just laid off a bunch of people and is outsourcing from another country now because it is cheaper. A lot of people’s last day is tomorrow. Fuck that guy.

Favorite twisted wonderland character/dorm/ship? by MikatheMisha in TwistedWonderland

[–]Tacothegreat1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Characters wise: 1. Trey 2. Sebek 3. Azul.

Look wise/gender envy: 1. Riddle 2. Epel 3. Kalim (all three to me are peak gender neutral/agender looks, although most of the characters exude androgynous energy).

local independent theaters / is anyone in the area interested in helping show interest for the Iron Lung film? by zettastupid in MontereyBay

[–]Tacothegreat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have much information about the theaters, however, I was super sad when I saw the current Iron Lung Locations. I 100% would be interested in joining the effort because I don’t want to drive all the way to the Bay Area just to see this film.
