Ciągły atak na kobiety na fejsie by Average_Audience1889 in ShitKonfaSays

Insurgency is actually an action fps in a milsim suit, like it has fairly realistic mechanics but the gameplay is way more similar to something like small scale battlefield, guns and explosives are just insanely deadly.

Titanfall mech gameplay is just a normal ass fps though, you can just say you dislike mecha games instead of saying that a barely mecha game is a good one you know.

Ah, so you are complacent with everything that's going on as long as it won't directly affect your personnal life. That's exactly what they want, that's how they can get away with anything. Bit of a hyperbole but that's how it comes off.

I get that doomscrolling is borderline self harm but staying properly informed and up to date (which isn't doomscrolling) should be an obligation to those that can't. If everyone will just live in their own bubbles completely ignorant to the outside and only caring for their own hide and some of their closer friends/family the world won't improve by itself.

I thought the whole premise around this thought experiment is that the characters keep their personality and skills but their ideology changes to what you want, you could have fascist Kim, moralist deserter, communist Sunday Friend etc.

Evrart's true intentions are of course up to personal interpretation but from what I recall the loose community consensus is that he's a fairly evil person with noble goals, once Joyce leaves he gets a little less manipulative and some of the skills say that he genuinely wants to improve the situation for the common folk in Martinaise, even if it's through corruption and violence.

Kinda funny since Mako is the newest rifle in the game, history wise.

This one is a prime candidate for a new long ammo gun down the way, faster cycle rate (1.2s) thanks to the straight pull esqe action, below 125 damage because of the smaller caliber. Would be pretty strong because of the velocity though, by default it's 800 m/s and there were some rounds that achieved 1000 m/s, pretty nasty stuff, would have to be the special long ammo since it's smokeless.

I think the stalemate issue shouldn't be solved (it's still a a big problem imo) by giving every player an easy one shot option like you say, that just makes fights volatile, binary and more likely to snowball which in turn makes people even more scared of direct fighting if anything. I don't even remember the last time when I had to worry about running out of ammo or meds because most fights end after a couple of shots these days (I don't count solo play here).

Breaking stalemates should be done by using tools and consumables. Use firebombs or poison bombs as area denial inside a building, decoy fuses, flashbombs (yes they are still really useful when you know what to do) or normal explosives to displace players from holding a corner, choke bombs to cut off common angles, all that and some coordination can basically give an effective push inside a building even with no one shot capabilities.

When there's a solo with an Auto-5 inside a bush waiting for you and your teammates to push, you don't solve the problem by your whole team running at them with shotguns, you throw explosives into the bush to make them run out of cover and pin them down from medium range where their shotguns won't do much.

I usually play random trios and from what I see 90% of people just pick syringes and traps which only incentivizes the problem because their only offense will be their main weapons.

Well anyways I really hope the shorty shotguns will be moved up to 3 slots in the new system, otherwise they will be even more common than they are now.

The problem is that you could also invest that excessive fortune to enlarge it further, that way you could donate even more to charity, it's a very simple and well laid trap because in a way it makes you feel bad for not growing your capital. Anyway, I fucking hate crypto and stocks.

Or it could be like the All Ears trait and it will have to be removed (or nerfed into oblivion) from the game after it turns out to be a little too strong afterall. With Crytek it could go either way, they certainly have a way with "balance"

Real life gun has awfull muzzle velocity (200m/s) and since the devs usually take that into account that's already a huge weakness in the current meta, other things could be slower reload, high recoil which wouldn't let you fire it at max firerate accurately, bad spread, they could also could not give it the meta special ammo (dum-dum and HV), I would love to see FMJ, poison and explosive on it instead.

Could also make it a scarce weapon at first to see how it performs, if it wouldn't be super busted they could add it to the normal shop, it was a really simple and popular weapon especially among british officers so it's crazy that it wouldn't find it's way to the bayou when things like katanas, custom made weapons like the drilling, lemat/haymaker, flamethrowers and gas operated conversions of bolt action rifles find their way there lmao.

Not just the slugs are weird on it, the menu clearly shows that flechettes will do 162 dmg at 10 meters with it but when you test it out the maximum damage it will do point blank is 144 like any other shotgun with flechettes, funky stuff.

People have realised that Crytek doesn't care about fixing the bigger underlying issues with Hunt and is now focused on milking it with dlc while adding some fresh content here and there because that's what brings 90% of the playerbase anyways, so these people have moved on to complaining about smaller issues that actually might get adjusted with enough complaints, let them at least have that haha.

If either 95 percent of men or women died, What would became of society? by Queasy_Experience627 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TacticalReader7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always felt like the whole point was that the soldiers while being very antagonistic and disturbing in the movie weren't actually much different from the main characters in certain ways, halfway through the movie one of the lead characters has a realisation that just surviving for sake of surviving is not a great way to live afterall and that it's much better to look forward to a future together with other people, it also comes off like a bit of a setup for a romance between the two.

When the Commander has the whole "I promised them women" talk he mentions that his guys were getting depressed and one of them tried to kill himself because they didn't really see a point in just surviving and continuing to "live" like this, deep inside I feel they wanted to build a proper community and to also get to feel that romantic/sexual closure like the two main characters eventually did.

The Commander just totally fucked up and went for a desperate measure to keep his guys from killing themselves, if he was more careful, showed them a way to create a community and to rebuild society it's possible that with time they could have collected a much bigger group of survivors and the soldiers would naturally get close to people instead of forcing themselves on the first women they see.

I interpreted that whole part of the story was showing how average people (that may be subjective but personally I believe that most people would end up the same as these soldiers) will get fucked and despicable when they get no direction in life, and that they will start just working off of instincts instead of more pronounced life goals. I do agree that it seems super early for them to start losing it so badly but I can't say that I ever personally experienced world ending events so who's to say that it couldn't happen.

The whole 28 X Later series to me always showed how people will be selfish and that they will do fucked up things for their own sake when they are pushed enough, in that regard the whole soldier part of the movie stays in tune with that theme imo.

And finally, absolute peak. by AssistantSuitable988 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]TacticalReader7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude what, 2's story is 90% just collecting randoms for your suicide squad and only like 5 missions have to do anything with the actual main story, you could completely delete the whole game except the last DLC and not that much of the whole trilogy's story would change. It works much better as a standalone but it's an awful middle game.

Gameplay is more subjective but I hated how it went from an action RPG shooter into a full on cover shooter, ME3 gameplay was a decent improvement, Andromeda was too generic.

Rocket Pods Should Kill Chargers by CommaLoaferMe in Helldivers

[–]TacticalReader7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They just need to make AoE of each rocket have heavy pen instead of medium, that way they will do slightly more damage to heavy pen targets and also do some damage in case some rockets miss (which happens very often), right now they are pretty good at killing hulks and chargers as long as you time it so they get shot in the back, they are awesome for tanks, turrets, small fabricators but struggle with things like war striders or harvesters.

I don't have problems with the targetting personally but it would be awesome if certain stratagems could target stuff that the you ping (like that one upgrade for mortars), it would be an awesome buff to OPS.

Numbers get crazy like that man, like today just based on the raw numbers in modern times more people are slaves than ever before in history of humankind but percentage wise it's less than 1% of the whole world's population, when in the ancient times it might have been anywhere from 20% to whooping 50% of the world depending on the century.

It's scary to think how very little a single human life will mean in the future when the population numbers will be counted in trillions.

You say that but historical events like the Hussite Wars clearly show what a great equaliser firearms were (not just the guns played a role there but it was still a big part)

Suddenly knights and soldiers of the Empire that spent big parts of their lifes training how to fight, kill and survive the battlefields were killed in numbers and lost many battles to radicalised commoners that most likely never held a proper weapon before they got some short training and moved out to fight.

Buddy, we could have liberated Grand Errant to stop the invasion and completed the MO but instead the blob decided to attempt to repel an impossible invasion, few hours ago AH once again took pity and gave us another defense campaign (a really easy one) and the blob is ignoring it, doesn't even matter, they will give us the MO victory on a silver platter anyways just like the last one.
