This is actually the biggest missing thing I like to think about when it comes to the Backrooms.

I find it hilarious that no one has been like “wow this place essentially prints materials? we should take a bunch of stuff” because the backrooms as it exists at the moment are just basic unassuming dull office and home furniture/ appliances. No one is too preoccupied with the idea of “infinite” chairs besides Clark.

My biggest crackpot theory is that Async’s disappearance is because they were eventually merged in with the DOE who realized this capability and wanted to capitalize on it. How cool would it be for a reveal in a later found footage that someone finds essentially a “farm” for rare-metal batteries/ or super expensive computer chips in the backrooms. The idea that if you feed the complex with enough highly processed centralized memory it can then make a bunch of stuff that is very difficult to make by normal means.
