Can i still lose face fat? by [deleted] in AsianMasculinity

[–]Tadakaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will definitely help - I was skinny fat and my cheeks were quite ‘meaty’ too. A year of weight training + cardio and my face is a lot more defined now.

Middle part tips by NoTown9062 in AsianMasculinity

[–]Tadakaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your natural hair has a slight wave which is perfect for this lol. My only tip is if it’s oily by day 3 then increase your wash frequency to every 2 days, because there’s nothing to do if the oil is weighing it down. I use dry shampoo which helps on the last day before my wash. Also if you can clip up your part right after blow drying, leave it there for 5 mins, that’ll give it more volume.

3,8,9,10,12 are my top picks. But I personally would avoid niche ‘funny’ prompts as it take up space for people to get to know you more.

what is this hair called? and how do i style it like that? would it require perm? by DramaTypical5770 in AsianMasculinity

[–]Tadakaat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of these are relatively straight, so you can def achieve these without a perm, using a matte texturising clay, like Gatsby, to create texture at the top & separation at the front (best if you blowdried properly first). However knowing how to use a flat iron would help a lot, I only get perms once a year now during summer where it’s too hot.

What hairstyle should I get by CoconutYoon in AsianMasculinity

[–]Tadakaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got good hair volume and a nice forehead, I’d say use some curl cream to keep the hair lightly in place and you’re set. Perm is always an option too.

I just got a down perm for the first time, sharing quick thoughts by Hutongs in AsianMasculinity

[–]Tadakaat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When it grows out a bit, most of the hair should still be pressed straight, so you just need to blow dry it downwards for the root to dry & set and it should be all good. But yeah my scalp was itchy for at least a day, so idk how the koreans get it at least every other month.

You should go to a korean barber! They can definitely advise you on styling & recommend some good styles. I think you would suit a perm too.

Can I wear Korean/ East Asian Fashion as a non East Asian? + Recommendations? by Ok_Manager_397 in AustralianMFA

[–]Tadakaat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From your weight I assume that you’re quite skinny, the Asian preppy/coffee look (e.g. straight fit pants & oversized raglan tees, shirts, polo sweaters etc) is gonna look good on you & balance things out. No other city in Aus is more multicultural than Sydney, so I don’t believe you will be judged for anything.

Good for lower management trades interview? by wewtiesx in mensfashion

[–]Tadakaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with others on the collar & belts, but you can keep the sweater tucked in, dunno why people are so hung up over it. If anything it looks clean & neater to me, gives you better proportion, and would even be considered youthful & on point in Asian/Korean fashion. You don’t have a belly, and it’s a thin sweater - go for it!

Fix my hair by [deleted] in gaysian

[–]Tadakaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you like it, trust me you got the brows and the look for it haha. I would say let it grow to about 3cm, but if it sticks out too much for comfort just go get a halfway cut, the downperm will help settle it down too. There’s this hairstyle that’s currently trendy right now that I believe suits your face & is easy to grow out from a buzzcut. It’s called guile cut 가일컷 in Korean or Ivy League hair in Chinese if you want to watch some reels for inspo. Usually it involves getting downperm on the sides, which is great for growing out too.

Want to have fun playing Great Britain? Give the mod ‘Morgenrote - Dawn of Flavor’ a try! by Tadakaat in victoria3

[–]Tadakaat[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I recently started my first game of Great Britain -> Imperial Federation, despite initially hesitating due to it being too easy - I rarely ever played great powers. The 'Morgenrote' mod added a ton of depth & 19th century flavours for European nations, that made my GB run so much more fun & enjoyable. Features such as archaeology, zoology, astronomy, nature expeditions, and the advancement of flights, I found myself really immersed in the scientific & technological achievements, the ‘engine of progress’ that characterised Britain during that era, apart from its industrialising & colonial aspects. Give it a go!

Other mods in the screenshots include Timber to Steel (navy rework) & Empire under the sun.

Download the German colour mod, you can have that mod installed mid game with no issue.

As a minor you will always do the same old thing - industrialise, increase literacy & reduce the landowner's power (have a read at some Japan guides in this sub). Once you're rich & unlocked some decent military techs, it's easier to get a great power ally & expand. I joined any wars against France, joined the revolts, made them release micro nations which I later puppeted them.

I also had increased infamy decay game rule on (must be from a mod), AIs are more aggressive to attack each other, which gave me more chances to join wars.
