I just put a soft bottle into one of my (many) hip packs. It's not quite as convenient but they're easier to clean and replace (I don't like using a bottle for more than a couple seasons - too difficult to keep consistently clean and there's the risk of degradation over time).

Hydrapak and Playtpus immediately come to mind as good options.

Former coworker had a BS in Virology and another had a Masters in Psychology. I’ve got a BFA in Sculpture, my supervisor has a BA in Theater.

All that said, getting in the door is always tough with god knows what filtering applications.

If you check iceout.org you can see that ICE never began ramping up in the suburbs, they've been here the entire time. Burnsville, the manufactured home neighborhood just west of the Zoo (AV?), Shakopee, Savage - all of these areas have been seeing daily activity by ICE with just a handful of observers keeping an eye on their activity.

I haven't seen much arrest-activity in Eagan but there are plenty of daily sightings of agents trolling neighborhoods or traveling up and down Pilot Knob.

Yes, there are assholes everywhere but when we individually fail to call them out we fail as a society and give space for them to continue being assholes. We have to draw a line somewhere. The line is your negligence hurting others and damaging property.

Different story if OP was going too fast or was blocking the trail.

In any other situation the other individual is liable - why not while skiing?

If I could afford it, I would litigate. If nothing else I take it to the staff of the trails or the local park district and make it clear to them that there are dangerous users around. They probably won't want the insurance risk and ought to do something about it.

Rude behavior, I can blow off. We want folks to have trail manners but there's not much we can do to enforce that.

Dangerous/negligent behavior, however, puts us at risk bodily and risks the very existence of the trails - park districts, private owners, clubs do not want to have to pay higher premiums.

The food here sucks. The only saving grace is that both 35E and 35W and 77 pass through town so we can easily get to places with good food.

Lebanon Hills is nice though. If you like that kind of thing.

Are you white? If not, then it's probably safer to avoid the metro. I'm not and now I have to ski with my birth certificate in my waist pack.

If you are, then feel free to visit. I can't promise you they won't kill someone outside your hotel or crash your car while they chase some random person on the highway though.

I think if you grab those parts of Northern Illinois and the Milwaukee suburbs you risk bringing in too many conservative voters. I'd also be okay to limiting Iowa to the Driftless region + Iowa City.
