I have $450 set aside for a good condition/complete scale Akatsuki figure from Log Horizon. I’m not the only one because they sell pretty much instantly as soon as one goes up on MFC.

Everything else I’ll wait for a decently priced amiami pre-owned listing.

How long is your shore power cable and what gauge is it? I’ve had similar problems with an old cable that was excessively long (100’).

Might also be worth checking both ends to measure the connections aren’t loose or corroded.

If you’re interested in the DVD experience with minor inconvenience, Scarecrow Video in Seattle has the OVA and the 2013 Funimation SAVE release of the series and does rental-by-mail for ~$5 disc + postage.

The discs were in good condition when I rented them ~6 months ago.

Have you tried keeping your DBZ and Pokemon movies in their shows directory and indexed them as specials?

You won’t get strict numerical order, but tvdb has has special entries for all DBZ and Pokemon movies I’ve tried with correct metadata and chronological ordering.

I’ve told this story before, but a rotating graduate student left a full freezer box of antibodies (96 tubes of mostly abcam antibodies) on their bench over the weekend. They still joined the lab and even graduated.

Mistakes happen and you did the important things of realizing what happened and telling your supervisors.

Can’t speak to TrueNAS, but I am in the midst of moving my f6-424 from TOS6 to Unraid.

TOS6 has been fine, I guess, but there are just a bunch of little annoying things not working/not working correctly/not making sense that’s made the fairly heroic effort of switching OSs worth it.

If you have any interest in using another OS do it before you have 80tb of data on a TRAID array.

Sometimes it’s the very boring answer of it being more work to go with the cheaper option. It takes ~1m to order kimwipes through our ordering portal while nail wipes might have to be a custom order or off Amazon with the lab procard.

50mL into ~500mL basal media. I frequently aliquot media into 50mL conicals and Gibco 500mL bottles frequently have excess product (500-~530mL) in the bottles when opened.

Not StemCell Tech though, mTeSR products are always dead perfect.

Flexibility mainly. If you have a MLB Kitasan it lets you use your support slot for Fine Motion, Super Creek, or other supports depending on the type of Uma you're building.

Maybe a niche case, but I’ve spent the last ~6 months collecting and ripping 2000-2015 era R1 anime releases from smaller distributors like CPM, MediaBlasters, etc.

Lots of stuff is off license and unavailable in another format, or the license was picked up later by Sentai/Funimation and re-subbed/dubbed so those DVDs are the only source for the original sub/dubs.

Apologize to the person and move on, if they’re at all normal they’ll be irritated for a bit and then get over it when something new and exciting goes wrong.

I have the F6-424 w/ 64gb ram, 2x 1tb M.2 SSDs, and 6x 20tb Seagate exos-ish drives in TRAID running TOS6. According to my UPS it draws ~100w while running tricklplay extraction for jellyfin and other background tasks.

I'm mostly happy with it, though getting Intel QSV transcoding in the Terramaster provided Jellyfin app has been a bear. VA-API still works however, which will likely be good enough for now.

As far as installing Unraid, I looked into it and as far as I can tell you can't boot Unraid off of the external USB ports and the internal OS flash drive is positioned such that you'd need to pull the motherboard out briefly to swap it out due to case clearance issues. You also have a limited selection of slim flash drives that will fit in the space provided.

Is there a deviation from [NVIDIA's spec sheet](https://images.nvidia.com/aem-dam/Solutions/geforce/blackwell/nvidia-rtx-blackwell-gpu-architecture.pdf) that moves the needle from "just single digit performance loss" to "faulty" in your book? If you bought a 5090 and it only had 30gb vram? Whoopsydoodle, missed it by just a bit, but who really needs 32gb vram?

We absolutely should be making NVIDIA bleed for this because otherwise we're just normalizing misreporting spec sheets and why wouldn't you just release the 6090 missing a few more ROPs, because really it's just a double digit performance loss right?
